Full-Color Manga: preview/reference panels for each chapter

Holy crap, a title page illustration?!
I thought Full Color title pages didn't exist!

It's a shame we don't have them because title pages are often gorgeous or funny illustrations, and if they had colors, they would be on the Daizenshuu 1 or Chogashu along with other Toriyama illustrations! That would make pretty much 500 more awesome artworks by Toriyama (even though the colors wouldn't be from Toriyama himself)!

Meanwhile, I have a few more chapters on the starting blocks, I'll try to get them online tomorrow before I get disconnected for a few days due to Christmas!

I, uh, have them all? That's part of the reason why my process to put them in order was so lengthy. But yeah, every title page in the kanzenban was colored. Just like in the kanzenban, they're at the back of the volume so as to not "interrupt" the flow. On a personal note, I quite enjoy them incorporated into the story as a break between chapters and often a hint to what you're about to see. Plus they sometimes give some backstory to characters you don't see, like Yamcha, Tenshinhan, and Chaozu training on Kaio's.

^ Setting up a collection of the title pages seems like a great idea now that they're fully colored.
I wonder why Shueisha hasn't thought about it already, as a complement to the Daizenshuu 1 and Chogashu.
I mean, hundreds of additionnal, impressive and funny illustrations by Toriyama (with some of them even serving as the basis for openings/endings and anime fillers), how could we resist? We need to have those Full Color title pages one way or another, let's hope Shueisha realizes it someday because those pages are skipped in the current physical Full Color edition.

SSJ Grade 2 Vegeta looks SO MUCH BETTER in the manga than in the anime. Mainly due to consistency

And you're doing it much faster than I am! I did most of the "origins" era, but if you keep it up at this pace, I think we'll owe most of the Z/Kai era to you, filling my huge gaps (and eventually, possibly catching up with me and going ahead)!

I checked and there doesn't seem to be a panel that's the direct equivalent of that shot.

To answer your question, Goku is not shown using the Kaioken until Freezer gets serious (saying he stops playing and it was fun entertaining) and seriously starts to take the upper hand. Goku gets seriously beaten up despite trying his best, and ultimately uses Kaioken but it's no good. It's only when he rushes to Freezer and gets kicked away that his aura is the red Kaioken aura (right before he gets up with his face bleeding and the scene cuts to Kaio's planet).

It's actually a chapter that's ready for preview since I had closed the gap between Freezer reaching his final form and Goku becoming a Super Saiyan before having to proceed with Cell. So I might post those soon (chapter 304 and chapters 307 to 316) to lift this weight from Tyro's already heavy-loaded shoulders.
