That....really needs to be a thing. I love it!

Though it's a cool design, it looks very un-Toriyama-esque and terribly pseudo-oriental. It's not something I would expect for official stuff.

I hope Toriyama will design new outfits for the main characters again. His redesigns in BoG were awesome.

I think the design I liked best was Videl's. I was a little disappointed that Bulma didn't get a new hairstyle or at least a new set of clothes like some of the other characters.

But I'm looking forward to Toriyama's new redesigns.

Ughhh. I don't know what to say here. I loved Toriyama's Battle of Gods redesigns and would love to see him do more for this movie. More Toriyama art is always a good thing! Buuuut I also feel that we've barely seen the BOG outfits, so some of them at least could stand to stick around for this film too...

I don't think I'd mind them changing up the casual outfits for most of the characters, but I really liked Kuririn and Tenshinhan's clothes last time. Unless the new ones are equally as awesome, I'd kinda like them to stick around (if they are in the film). Also, I'm tired of seeing Goku in orange and Vegeta in armor, but we're probably going to get those designs again anyway (I can hope Goku is in his blue dogi though). But if we're going to be stuck with them in the same battle outfits, hopefully we at least get more casual clothes for Goku and Vegeta this time though. Goku in the tracksuit in BOG was fun.

I agree about loving Tien's outfit in BOG but perhaps we could see Goku in the blue dogi for this next film? Do you think that is very likely?

The only redesigns desperately needed are Goten and Trunks. I seriously wish we had some consistency between ages - comparing 11 year old Goku, Gohan, and Goten is pretty ridiculous.

It is beyond depressing to see so many people automatically going 'Well this is gonna suck' just because they have some issues with Battle of Gods. If anything and everything Toriyama does now isn't for you, wouldn't it be a happier time for you just to enjoy the old stuff and ignore the new stuff, instead of trying to spoil the hopes of those of us that do enjoy the new stuff? I will never understand the negativity that a lot seem to enjoy stewing in.

As far as the question of new designs or outfits for the existing characters goes, hmm...I'm conflicted. I'd really like to see a lot of them, but at the same time, I liked the BoG looks for most of them - especially Kuririn - so I'd hate to see them go away so soon too. I also really hope against hope that maybe we'll get to see something set in the era after the series ends, with some usage of the Pan and Oob characters, but I'm under the impression that we'll probably never get something like that, at least not so long as Toriyama is at the helm, since he's said he finds the rest of the cast 'too old' by that point in the timeline.

It's a good thing that Toriyama is so heavily involved, people. We need his perspective and quirkiness. He just needs somebody like Torishima to tell him "no" every once in a while. "Hey, that's stupid." "Hey, that'll create a plothole." I do get a little hesitant whenever I hear he's in charge of something, but mostly because I worry that nobody over there ever challenges him when he just barfs out a half-baked idea.

If this movie really does take place after Beerus wakes up from his nap, then I do hope that Goten, Trunks, and Marron look older. I honestly don't think Toei wants to go through with that unless they absolutely have to, though. They really seem to want to keep the "main" characters in their most-marketable appearances (which is why none of the Saiyans looked any different in "Battle Of Gods" or the Jump special). If they have to keep Goku in the iconic orange and blue, then I guess I understand. I'm also fine with Vegeta staying in his armor, since it's been established that he prefers it as "formal wear." But there's no reason why Gohan, Goten, and Trunks can't get some different fighting clothes.

Bulma needs a new hairdo; keeping her Buu-arc look in "Battle Of Gods" was a missed opportunity. I want a new style in every film! And for all that is sacred, change Gyūmaō's clothes. His 2013 look was just oh so wrong.

Oh, and I'm calling it! Shoko Nakagawa's coming back. I don't know how, I don't know where. But they'll cram her in there somehow.

It's quite funny seeing the different reactions that Kanzenshuu members and casual fans of the series had. Quite a lot of people here got excited that Toriyama's former editor praised his ideas for the film whereas the casual fans saw that there will be more action and got excited over that.

I'm not sure if it's likely, but they were pushed relatively hard for the previous film.

I love Kageyama's DB songs, but I'm not fond of his songs after transferring to Lantis. They sound forced and lack some kind of innocence that shonen series must have. It's like he is acting Kageyama himself.

I'm not a fan of FLOW, but I prefer them over some unrelated J-POP crap anyway. They should allow international licensors to dub their songs, though.

See the first word I saw was Rebellion and immediately I thought you were referring to Ragna's theme from Blaze Blu lol but I see it was something different.
