Toriyama made the design for the respective transformation so I would really be surprised if this form didn't represent the same Legendary Super Saiyan concept from the particular movie...

I can really predict Brolly will follow Bardock's and Tarble's fate and become mentioned in the actual show.

I don't like Brolly, but the concept of this super saiyan I could accept in any day of the week.

I think the fact the Toriyama tends to listen to Toyotaro's ideas and Toyotaro used Broly's character in his own AF manga back when.. I think Toriyama could introduce an altered version of the same Broly we knew from the movies. Maybe the LSSJ concept made Toriyama to allow Broly to make his way in the main continuity.

I always loved Broly's concept and design but the story is awful, I wouldn't mind If they make canon the LSSJ but it has to have a better story and development than Broly (which is not really complicated), besides, it's not like they haven't reused concepts before, Black could be the canon version of Turles, with a better story, design and everything. In this case we have Broly's design back but I hope everything will be different and better than all we saw in the 3 Broly movies

Yeah, I meant that Toriyama can make everything canon and twist events just like he pleases just like the way he did with Bardock. Even though he did like the TV special he changed it significantly in order to fit it with his new concepts...

Remember, when he first transformed he started looking very similar to Broly before he bulked down. Instead of a pesudo-blue form, it was simply him tapping into this LSS form. He didn't fully transform, which is why he only looked close to this form for a few minutes.

SSR is Super Saiyan Rosé, it's really bad to give them the same abbreviation and it is a shame there isn't a consensus on this. If anything it should be SSA, Super Saiyan Angry. But that's just a minor nitpick.

How far she gets in the tournament I think is going to come down to which audience, Japan or International, is she created more for. Brolli's kind of a jokey, meme character in the Japanese fandom, but in the U.S. he's hulky action monster.

If she's created more for the Japanese fandom, I don't think she'll get very far in the tournament (just a joke character "Hey remember Brolli -laugh-").
If she's created for the U.S. audience I can see her making it deep into the tournament; like near the final rounds. (Because "Brolli power maximum".)
