I doubt the main villain of u6 is any of the characters we have seen through super.

While it seems to be a simple tournament i bet you something will happen and someone powerful or very cunning will appear to screw things up.

If it's not Whis/Vados/Beerus/Champa then Super would break the franchise record for most delayed appearance of a Saga's main villain tho. Going with Kai/manga pacing, it took around 12 to 18 episodes for Freeza, Cell or Buu to appear. We're already at episode 23 with no "big main bad" in sign . So I'm beginning to wonder if there gonna be one other than potentially 4 mentioned

Out of the 4 I would probably bet on her as well. Suppousedly the strongest and we haven't had a female Big Bad yet so it would definitely be fresh and interesting.

What if the final Big Bad is the creator of the Super Dragon Balls. He/She/It would have motivation to hurt those who broke pieces of his precious Dragon Balls. The Bulma and Jaco plot, I think, will become the main point of this new Universe 6 Arc.

Zuno, the being that knows everything is what I'm most interested in. I prefer if we get him next chapter than the Universe 6 fighters. Most of those will likely be inconsequential, although entertaining characters.

There is other universes out there. Super can't end at Universe 6 when there is so much more to explore.

Why not? If Mr.Toriyama feels like stopping there, he will. Even if it would be beautifully poetic for the Final Boss to be the Creator of the Dragon Balls, there's room for stronger foes. If we subscribe to the idea the Dragon Balls only exist in our Twin Universes, there's room to move forward.

The thing is Toriyama doesn't want to be pressured to keep coming up with new ideas and story arcs again, that's why he got burnt out of Dragonball in the first placed and ended the manga after the Buu arc. So no he came up with Beerus/Whis and the outline for the tournament, but who knows if he wants to continue coming up with ideas beyond that?

Likewise if Toriyama wants to quit again does TOEI continue without him? It'd just be GT 2.0.

Sometimes I think we would have been better off just with movies every few years rather than a new series.

Unfortunately you're a day or 2 too early.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

After the bust last month, it may be more like four or five days too early. Like I said back then, I still expect people to get the magazine early via the post office delivering a bit ahead of schedule or whatever, but I don't see that happening nearly a week in advance like when magazines were being stolen during shipment to the warehouses.

Didn't we get our first text leak last month AFTER that happened and it was like 5 days before the street date? And isn't the street date this month the 19th?

Yes we still got a text leak last month after the bust, but it was later than we used to get them before that. They used to occur around the 16th, occasionally a day or two before that if we're really lucky. But the ones last month were on the 18th.

Though I forgot that V-Jump was releasing early alongside Jump Festa this month. So that basically puts us on the previous schedule anyway...

v-jump is usually leaked around the 15-17th so we can expect something soon.

Again, the "usual" is no longer a guarantee. We'll get it when we get it,

I think it's one of the strongest possibilites in the future, but not yet. A villain of this magnitude would be the most powerful being in the entire universe by defition, capable of doing well, anything. He would likely have an entire big arc to himself IMO so post-U6 tournament and the current Beerus/Champa Godly arc.

I doubt it. He has a 'dream' position right now - knock out a general plotline, sketch some designs, make some production nots, mail it to Toei - done for 2 years. Can't compare to crunching a new manga chapter on tight schedule for years and years as he was doing back in the day. Work overload/pressure of success is #1 reason artists quit or take long breaks. It's not like their love for the art suddnely disappears, it never will, but it may take a long time to recuperate.

The news is being released via V-Jump, which is out on the 19th in Japan alongside Jump Festa. So, sometime within the next four days.
