What? Beerus was sleeping when the planet was destroyed, how would he know that?

Beerus slept for 39 years, meaning he went to sleep in age 739, and Vegeta waas destroyed in 737

You know,if youd color it red and keep the hair like that would proly look better.

I understand now why toriyama said that blue looks weak,since blue is more watery and red is more intense.

They'd need to go with a more yellow dougi so it'd not be so much them.

I'm just so underwhelmed with blue ssj because as of right now it's just literal palette swapping. Magenta ssjg at least did body type and face stuff. It's not a bad shade of blue, but then only a few of the transformations are even that loud. (1, 3, 4, low power ssjg are pretty loud imo. Kaio-ken, 2, and this blue ssj aren't that loud imo.)

Ssj3 and 4 are probably the biggest noticeable transformations, and the one's from GT, so I dunno.

Hmm i actually meant if you colored the hair red and keep the shape of ssj would look better IMO.

Basically the bog ssj god minus the body change but with ssj1 hair.

But i guess we will have to wait and see it on screen,maybe it'll be cool ^^.

Only for the anime. There is no problem with the manga, because it never states an exact time when Vegeta was blown up. Meaning Dragon Ball Minus and the planet's destruction occurs in AGE 739.

Well you can calculate how old Goku was at the time Beerus woke up and just go from there.

And the red guy that punches Piccolo was not a big deal either. From so many soldiers out there, just makes sense some can land a attack.

It's actually kind of worse than people imagined, as first form Frieza one-shotted and nearly killed Gohan. And that mook actually gave Piccolo, who's supposed to be stronger than a SSJ, a hard time.

I know. But Dragon Ball Heroes shows that base God Goku is like a different for for Goku, meaning he can choose to transform into a Super Saiyan/2/3/God, or power-up in base & use the God's power. Which is what I'm asking from those who have seen the movie: does the movie show the same thing?

But in a movie itself Goku fought Beerus in base, and he was fine. He didn't even become much weaker than when he was in SSJG.

Why is that? Beerus is alive for over 75 million years.

The problem is not really with Goku not being able to do it in that specific time-frame, rather than him saying:

According to DBZ timeline, he wasn't. Beerus stated that he went into slumber 39 years prior to the events of BoG, BoG happens in age 778.

Why would they know how he looks like? They may have just heard about him, but never saw him. Knowing Beerus, if he had met Boo in the past, Boo would have died.

Even if they didn't know how he looked like, it makes sense for Whis to bring up Buu as the strongest being, while Beerus himself was interested in Frieza who was much weaker than him. Not only part of him did survive (Mr. Buu), but he even was reincarnated by that point. Hell... Frieza out of all people mentioned Buu, yet Whis didn't.

Vegeta didn't know how strong Beerus was, he just knew he was stronger than his father. He only realized how dangerous he was when he heard that he defeated SS3 Goku with 2 blows.

Seeing as Beerus was treating his father as garbage, he should have guessed that he was much stronger than King Vegeta, and Frieza seemingly not interrupting it at all should have given him a quite good idea about Beerus' strength at all.

Vegeta got a rage boost specifically because he wanted to protect Bulma, according to Watanabe (BoG scriptwritter). Vegeta never got angry in order to protect someone in the manga. It's also probably a gag, since Watanabe called it a silly scene. It's a stupid idea, but it isn't a plot-hole.

This doesn't work like that though. In the manga it was established that only Gohan receives major rage boosts (and Pan, being Gohan's daughter does it in GT as well).

Beerus never said such a thing.

Vegeta's hits barely affected him, and he was heavily holding back.

Exactly. And him knowing something which both of his creators don't, as well as the whole cast of characters, besides Kaioshin and Kaio, doesn't make a single bit of sense.

Why would Whis know about it?

Because Whis is the one who trains two SSJ Gods in FnF, he has a scepter with which he can see anything he wishes, and he is supposed to know a lot about different races, especially saiyans, as it was him who brought up Frieza's defeat by Goku's hands to begin with.

But we know. Frieza stated in the manga that it was the first time he has ever shown his 3rd form to anyone.

Goku felt that it wasn't right to use power, which he didn't earn by hard training. Yet he did exactly this in FnF by letting Whis rewind time, for him to be able to save the Earth.

Who cares, I'm talking about the manga. The manga contradicts the anime in numerous occations.

And what? We are speaking about anime movie here, so it is just proper to compare it with anime. It is advertised as a "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F", not "Dragon Ball". And contradictions, being it with anime, or manga, they exist. We can't just pretend that they don't exist for some reasons. There are contradictions in manga as well.

Toriyama explained that the more evil you are, the faster you get reincarnated. Majin Boo was the most evil being in the universe, since he was a mindless monster that existed only to kill & destroy, so he got reincarnated fast, while Freeza was an inteligent evil person. We don't know how long it would take for him to be reincarnated, and we have no way to tell.

By the quote I listed upper in my previous post, Toriyama literally said that only Frieza of all DB villains he created was truly bad, and only he didn't have any good or redeemable qualities, Toriyama directly contradicts himself with this movie.

Piccolo, and everyone else, were heavily suppressed because they didn't want to kill anyone, which is why Piccolo had trouble for a moment.

It doesn't matter how much suppressed they are. At that point of time, they should be able to defeat the likes of Zarbon with their hands tied, and their eyes closed.

Gohan was holding back, which is why he didn't use Ultimate. The manga also implies that Ultimate does work like a transformation, even though it isn't an actual transformation, since Gohan's hairstyle is different when he doesn't fight after the ritual compared to how it is when he fights, and Goku believed he could do Fusion with him, which would have been impossible if Gohan couldn't power-down to his normal state from his Ultimate state.

Then why did he turn SSJ if he was holding back? It literally makes no sense.

Beerus said that Freeza survived because he can survive in space, which heavily implies that Vegeta really died from suffocation and not from the explosion.

Yet, nothing in the movie actually implied this, at least from the words of Kei and the summary. It is just a wild guess, no more than this, it wasn't shown or confirmed by anyone.

But it does. And it still doesn't fit. Frieza states that he destroyed Planet Vegeta thirty years ago from their fight on Planet Namek.

I think he was referring to Vegeta's ki sense, since when Beerus said that, Vegeta was trying to find him.

Yet, the way it is phrased, gives an impression of Beerus saying that no matter what he does, his Ki won't help him to do anything to Beerus. It is also strange that he reffered to Ki sensing as "Ki", as these are two different things. But it is a possibility, that Beerus only meant Ki sensing, which brings a question, why he phrased it in a such strange way.
