I'm really into the Gashapon/Models side of it so I dont have any mangas or dragonboxes... I just try and focus on the toys...
anyway this is some of my stuff:

Of course this is nowhere near all of it, but you get the gist . I really want to start delving into the HSCF figures, and some more Banpresto HQ DX models... I want to follow up on the Bandai Digital Grade line as well, seeing as they're going to have some nice releases in December. I'm trying to finish collecting all of the imagination sets and my favourites in the HG line. I don't really like the Megahouse sets becuase of the cost, but I recently received the Neo Cell Megahouse set yesterday and I'm quite pleased with it, the special movie edition Neo Broly set is also on it's way... And SS3 Broly HSCF too so I'll probably make group shots of my entire collection soon

Man, I like that SSJ4 Gogeta.... I wish they would re-release some of those old figures. I've been getting pretty much all of the Banpresto DX HGQ series lately.

I managed to snag it from Ebay off a reliable guy for 25$ including shipping and everything... (my 1st one anyway). I have a second Banpresto HQDX SSJ4 Gogeta in perfect mint condition never opened, becuase I was a fool and ordered it off toywiz to get a grand total of 70$!. I saw the 25$ after so I just picked that up as well, and now I have a spare I try to stick to my faves when talking HQDX, becuase of cost lol

No. When I was in Japan, I go into a market and they were selling these. I bought 3 of them. 1 for each character. They're all have Pineapple taste.

I kind of agree with Velasa though. I feel that this thread was supposed to be to show off ones ENTIRE collection, not just recent purchases. That's what I thought the "Recent Purchases" thread was for But a lot of people seem to be posting their recent purchases in both threads.

Use the "Most Recent Purchase" thread to show off... well... your most recent acquisitions, which is usually just one or two items or so. Please do not use both threads simultaneously for the exact same item(s).

Sorry about posting just the book, I keep getting confused over where to post pictures of recently purchases...


This is my top DB shelf, the bottom shelf only has my old stuff, a few Funi singles, steelbook movies, Arabic Boxsets, Madman DB collections, Orange Bricks and the Asian LA movie.

I still don't have a decent place for DBE, but it looks pretty nice just standing with the Figuarts in front of the manga. Can't believe Japan got such an awesome cover for it.

Hmm, some more questions, then.

- What about the Ginyû Corps (all five of them), and Freeza?
- What translation did they use for jinzôningen?
- What did they call Majin Boo?
- Did they keep "Son Gokû" intact? (no getting rid of his family name or putting both names together?)
- What about Piccolo Daimaô? (Did they translate daimaô to "El gran rey de los demonios", how did they render it, did they use some sort of alternative...?)
- Did Mr. Satan get to keep his name?
- What romanisation did they use for Dabra's name?
- Are attack names left in Japanese? (from Makankôsappô to Kamehame-ha)?

OK, This will take some detective work...
These will be listed in the order asked:

-Ginyu Tokusentai is translated as El Comando Ginew. Their names are: Cream, Butter, Cheese, Yoghourt, and Ginew. Freeza is Freezer.
-Jinzôningen is translated as Androides.
-Majin Boo is Monstruo Bu.
-Son is kept intact in Goku's name.
-Piccolo Daimaoh is left as Piccolo Daimao without further explanation, there might be some in the comic itself.
-Mr. Satan stayed the same.
-Dabra is Dabra.
-Kame-Hame-Ha stayed in its original form as did many names. For some odd reason Makankôsappô was changed to Cañón de Energía Mortal.

when i was in Panama , I used to watch Dragonball everyday.
Mexican translation from Japanese was almost true to their name.
there was no freaking yogurt or cheese nor cream. moustruo bu was kept as majin buu
piccolo was piccolo daimacu ..

He was referring to the names used in the translation of the comic book(more specially the Kanzenban), not the animated series.
