Judging by their treatment of Baraka, oops, I mean, Deadpool in the Wolverine movie I'd say they need to try even harder still.
If that is in fact Deadpool, which I have heard it might not be and it might be some other Weapon XI character or something, I have to say that is the worst adaptation appearance ever! If people really want to see a fuck up far worse than anything in evolution, they need to look at those pics.
I've heard that as well. Unfortunately there are action figures of that character floating around and they have the name Deadpool on them so unless that's a mistake then the Merc with a Mouth is screwed :( .

Oh come on, you guys don't like Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool!? :P I'm just glad Gambit is finally getting into a movie, he always was my favorite character from X-Men.

I thought Reynolds was a pretty good choice actually.
If you want to see what I'm talking about look up the newest Wolverine trailer...see that guy with the marks all over his body and the long blades coming out of his arms? That's what I'm upset about.
EDIT: That same character can be seen shooting beams from his eyes further into the trailer. So if that is Deadpool he's even more messed up than I originally thought :? . Not to mention it looks like he doesn't even have a mouth. How can he be the "merc with a mouth" without a mouth!?

About rebooting; I think if the movie fails to meet financial expectations, any possible reboot won't take place for a long time because this is Dragon Ball and not a Marvel or DC franchise. To draw a parallel, Street Fighter. I mean, 15 years passed between their movies.

I think with Marvel/DC series, they sort of get a free pass. If one of their movies bombs, they can bounce back easily with a newer, better film because they're always used to rebooting by nature (look at the comics).
On hiatus.

Supposedly Deadpool, but played by a different actor. The mysteries of this film boggle my mind.

Japan premiere in 10 hours. ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?!? will be the question we ask the people who attended.

On a side note, I saw Watchmen today. While good, I had already read the graphic novel so I knew the story. If I hadn't, I would be confused as hell especially since the last half was so rushed.

The ending was better than the novels though.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

The movie's ending had some plot holes. But the movie was very entertaining.

Sorry, I know. I just...had to.

Anyhow, is the Japanese premier really that close? I thought it opened this Friday?

That picture probably shows Daimao's actually personality more than anything else I've seen, so far. He's just as Marsters described him.

NOTE: This movie is #12 on Yahoo's list of the "21 Most Highly Anticipated Movies Of Spring". Just look at this description: "Goku and his friends battle for the Earth against the deadly forces of the Saiyans, who are sweeping across the universe, leaving a path of destruction."

They're rite, rite gaiz???

He's played by the other guys Stuntman and the characters name is supposedly "Weapon XI", but, c'mon, his markings resemble Deadpool's costume...

Which will suck more?! X-men Origins: Attack of Flyclops-Baraka Or Dragon Bawl Devolution!?!??

I wont say which will "suck more" but I think I'll end up enjoying Wolverine more. With the exception of Deadpool (if that is in fact who that is, whatever, we'll see I guess) everything else looks pretty good for the most part.
I think I'll still enjoy Dragonball but overall I'm more excited for Wolverine just because I'm a huge Marvel fan and that takes up more of my enjoyment than Dragonball (though Dragonball is a pretty close second 8) ).

Then you obviously don't care one bit about the X-Men franchise. You'll just take any ol' crap you're served up, won't you?

Sabretooth - "Do you even know how to kill me?"

Wolverine - "I'm gonna cut your head off... see if that works."

If that isn't great then I don't know what is! 8)

Well, the case of Street Fighter is different. The reboot frenzy is really only starting in these past few years... they weren't really rebooting many movies in the '90s. Plus, video game adaptions are notorious for failing. But yeah, I see your point about it not being Marvel or DC.

But I wouldn't rule out a reboot by about 2015 or something. It would just take some brave director who is confident that they can turn a profit if they take it in the right direction, and that's what you really want, I feel. If they are rebooting He-Man, I don't see why Dragon Ball wouldn't get one, with the influx of those kinds of movies coming.

I think it is worth noting that most of the Tweets (is that what you call them?) on twitter with the word "Dragonball" in them are referring to Dragonball Evolution... despite the film having nearly zero marketing in the US thus far.
