Yikes. That is a horrendous clash of colours. And it kinda makes you appreciate that the transformation was pretty much a one time thing for Goku.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Yeaaaaaah as I feared that really doesn't look great. At all. Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Super Saiyan God would have definitely looked a lot better on Vegeta with his Resurrection "F" outfit, but I would hope an official design in the blue armor wouldn't look that bad in terms of colors. (Well, if Toriyama did it anyway. The anime staff don't seem to care based on them using SSGSS on the Cell Arc outfits.)
It seems like most fans that create art for these what-ifs don't pay much attention to that fact that it wasn't just a hair and muscle mass change for Super Saiyan God. Not only did Goku get new boots, but all the colors of his design were shifted to better complement the red/magenta hair and red-ish skin tone. Doing the same for Vegeta would probably still result in a mediocre design in terms of colors, but it would at least be better...

I love this idea, but Super wouldn't do that. Goku and Vegeta will almost certainly be the main focus the whole time.Krillin1994 wrote:I'm personally rooting for Goku and Vegeta getting stuck in the future after losing to SSR black.
Like they lose and tell Trunks to flee.
Then the resistance cause a distraction leading Yajirobe to save them/heal them (maybe he has the last senzu bean)
Trunks in the past trains to return and save his Dad/Goku maybe he fills Gohan in since he's still unaware of all this.
...Sigh. This show makes me sad at all the lost potential.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I honestly think trunks would be the only person that would look bad with ssg. I still think Vegeta looks good in that pic

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Just throwing it out there because I watched the episode last night. Yajirobe is dead in the future. Saw the scene of the androids hunting him/Krillin/tien/Yamaha/piccolo down when Ascended Trunks fights Perfect Cell right after Vegeta goes down.TekTheNinja wrote:I love this idea, but Super wouldn't do that. Thought it was odd they specifically showed a scene of Yajirobe getting beamed when he's not known as a warrior.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
In the anime he was clearly shown getting killed, however we never see yajirobe in the manga getting killed though. Knowing yajirobe he probably ran and hid somewhere. The thing bothering me is not yajirobe being in next episode but the fact that Super cannot decide what continuity to follow. It does not bother me a lot but still a little bit.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
The regular DBZ anime had tons of contradictions because they would set something up in filler that didn't make sense to the manga too. I don't see this as any differnt.Sodhi wrote:In the anime he was clearly shown getting killed, however we never see yajirobe in the manga getting killed though. To be fair, Yajirobe dying didn't contradict anything until two days ago, and that episode aired back in the 90s.kinisking wrote:The regular DBZ anime had tons of contradictions because they would set something up in filler that didn't make sense to the manga too. Ik, but it's not surprising that they'res going to be contradictions because no way in hell Toriyama is going to give a shit about Toei filler from the 90s.HeroR wrote:To be fair, Yajirobe dying didn't contradict anything until two days ago, and that episode aired back in the 90s.kinisking wrote:The regular DBZ anime had tons of contradictions because they would set something up in filler that didn't make sense to the manga too. You can say the same thing about Toriyama's own official work.kinisking wrote: Ik, but it's not surprising that they'res going to be contradictions because no way in hell Toriyama is going to give a shit about Toei filler from the 90s.

Apparently new episode titles:
57- The advent of the invincible God (immortal?) Zamasu
58- The Mystery of Black and Zamasu

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
This is very interesting. It would appear that Black wins the fight but what happens with Goku, Trunks and Vegeta now that Black knows of the time machine I doubt they would all be able to escape and if one of them do will Beerus join in? I am just happy this arc is long and genuinely intriguing.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Apparently new episode titles:

Trunks and one of Goku or Vegeta escape to the past as I think Black fuses with Goku or Black kills vegeta.THEGOKU wrote:This is very interesting. I can't see Super being like Z in which Goku or Vegeta will die. Severally wounded will be as bad as it will get for them. It doesn't really seem like Zeno will be getting involved on the fight either seeing as he can end the fight so quickly. Unless Zeno really isn't that strong?namekiansaiyan wrote:Trunks and one of Goku or Vegeta escape to the past as I think Black fuses with Goku or Black kills vegeta.THEGOKU wrote:This is very interesting. Well I'm glad the arc isn't ending this weekend after all.
Curious to see where this goes.

If Black wins then they will at least escape to somewhere, most likely the past.THEGOKU wrote:I can't see Super being like Z in which Goku or Vegeta will die. Episode 57 is Goku vs Black, interesting that the title is about Zamasu though, I'm guessing the fight will be broken up by scenes of Zamasu in the present and 58 will be the birth of Black in the present.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Those titles are confirmed to be true. I'm looking forward to the 58th episode.

Only after ArchedThunder's post did I realize that 57's title was "Goku, Super Saiyan Blue" before. Interesting.
