Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

I had the geniousest idea ever. People who draw fanarts, plz make a Super Sentai-esque picture with all forms of Super Saiyan. Each has a different color, normal Super Saiyan is yellow (could be Gohan or Goten), Legendary Super Saiyan is green (Broly of course), Super Saiyan God is red (Goku), blue Super Saiyan (Vegeta), then you can make either Baby Vegeta's white Super Saiyan hair or Gogeta in his SSJ4 form.

And what about Gohan? Gohan should be green!

Did I just read people calling SSJ2 lazy? Are you kidding me? Post-Cell Games, SSJ2 was merely meant to be an extension of an existing transformation. It's supposed to be subtle. It takes away nothing from the SSJ transformation, but rather adds to the cool and intimidating factor of the form.

BSSJG is lazy and takes away from the SSJ form by making it look uglier and weaker looking.

Even if you don't like it, there's a DESIGN in it. Effort and creeativity was poured into it, even if you consider final result not good. SSJG has no design. Changing color in Photoshop is not designing. The backstory is weak as well and Blue SSJ is introduced even worse.

It was over designed and it never suited Goku. It's like it belongs to another show altogether when compared to the previous forms.

It also doesn't make much sense, if the form is linked to the Oozaru why does Goku have red fur instead of brown or gold (which would have looked much better)? Why does turning into SSJ4 give him pants? Why does Vegeta have a different shade of fur? Why does SSJ4 Gogeta suddenly have red hair? Fusion never gave them a different colour hair before.

SSJ God was not a simple palette swap and it still looks infinitely better anyway. We haven't seen the Blue one yet to even comment on.

For the same reason Piccolo uses clothes beam to make clothes for Gohan, and for the same reasons fusion creates new clothes.

Because SSJ God Goku has red hair.

Personally, I feel SSJ4 looks better than SSJG and makes much more sense in how it's obtained.

That said, I completely agree about the color schemes being lame, and other things not making sense about it (Goku turning into an adult and gaining pants). It was so random. Hated how every SSJ4 transformation was so distinct from the other too. Ugh.

Hey! i was merely making a suggestion, based on comparisons with other rainbow type cartoons/anime, one that clearly hints at a recreation of those form/colours for each characters, if you didnt notice!!!
Blue has always been for smart characters, so gohan should be blue!

On topic: For anyone that has seen the movie, mind describing frieza attack which blew up the earth? was it similar to what he did on namek?


Btw, does anyone know where i can see battle of gods subbed? missed it the first time, wasnt too interested after spoiling my self a whole lot(like i'm doing now sadly) and only watched a few scenes, now i want to see the whole thing, but subbed though!

I can see why Fusion would create different clothes like with Vegito but Goku had one set of clothes, became Oozaru so lost those clothes, then transformed into a SSJ4 and gained new different pants. It just seems kinda stupid, when Goku became a SSJ or SSJ3 or SSJ God his body changed but obviously the clothes would remain unchanged.

Just like how personally SSJ God belongs on some random persons Deviant Art photoshop . But hey like I said. Some people like the simple and familiar approach, and some like the drastic approach.

They are tied. They are tied to concept of Saiyans, and they have none in common with their original concept, which is my point.

Exactly. SSJ God isn't the same as SSJ. Yet it has two different hair colors for no real reason. It has both red and blue hair. Just like SSJ4 Gogeta has red hair, while simple Vegetto and Gogeta have black hair

I just call it Blue Super Saiyan God (BSSJG) or Infused Super Saiyan (iSSJ) <-- it's infused with God Ki.

Heroes called it "Saiyan Beyond God," but I don't think that's an official name. They probably didn't know what to call it either.

I think I'm gonna abbreviate it ssj1/g. It's ssj1 with ssjg flipped on, after all. Not a further ssjg transformation, as far as I can tell.
