I've never personally crossed paths with him, but he's a member on the forum who, from what I've gathered, claimed to have "insider information" on things like DBZ Movies 14 & 15, for example. Apparently he's trustworthy, as his info has proved correct. I'm sure someone who knows him could explain better.

I haven't really seen people make note of this, but Rose actually has a slightly different hair style than Super Saiyan, at least in this episode.

Three bangs on one side, one on the other. Some frames have it drawn differently, but it popped up like this a lot. Some times it's drawn with three on one side and two on the other, like in the NEP. It was pretty consistently drawn like this in this episode though, which makes me thing that's how it is on the design sheet. Meanwhile Goku's Blue hair was drawn with two on each side most of the time.
I hope this is how it's supposed to be and we'll see it like this more, I like it being different.

I noticed that too, actually; my impression was that Black's bangs are parted more to the side than Goku's, whose parting appears to be closer to the middle of his forehead. I'm not yet sure if it's intentional but it's a really neat design touch nonetheless.

Also the thing about the Supreme Kai and God of Destruction being a set, I like that idea now, it makes sense. It's all about maintaining balance in the universe, if the God of Creation dies then so to must the God of Destruction because otherwise if just the one remains it threatens the balance. If both die though then no more planets can be created it destroyed, maintaining the balance.

1) He doesn't despise life so much as intelligent mortal life. So I guess he is just destroying humanity and their creations if and when possible.

2) Not totally true. Even Freeza has the power to destroy a planet. With no Kaioshin eventually most planets may be destroyed over great lengths of time.

Like I said, we don't know for sure. Assuming that it is a Toyotaro thing is the same as assuming it is a Toriyama thing. We also know that Toei change things from Toriyama's versions of his stories whenever they feel it's necessary. We already have one occation that Toei removed SSG, which was in Toriyama's version of the story, so it wouldn't be surprising if they did it again.

The difference between the manga & the anime is that we can tell which ideas originate from Toei, but we can't tell which ideas originate from Toyotaro.

That isn't true at all. You can tell what is Toriyama's ideas if it appears in both the anime and manga. If one appears exclusively in one version, then either Toei or Toyotaro made it. Also, if we're going to used Battle of Gods removing Super Saiyan God reappearing as an example, I should point out that Resurrection 'F' was extremely closed to Toriyama's script and even cleaned up some of the plot holes, while the manga tie-in took more creative license.
