Agree with everything besides for those. The fact that Vegeta lost even when Beerus was using 10% of his power is a huge L to me.

Gohan only needed help because he saved Vegeta's ass.

He lost but he did more than a Ssj3 Goku and an Ultimate Gohan which before Goku reached Ssjg was a big deal.

That's true but at least he did something and didn't run away like the other Z fighters did.

Exactly. You just got some major respect for saying that. I can think of plenty that are treated worse than him. Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and tien especially.

Plus we have the fact that Kabito and Supreme Kai were able to separate with help from the dragonballs so it could be done and they wish to be separate after. I could also say I think we could all use some more Vegetto since we didn't get enough of him in the Buu Arc.

About that. What was the point of it? So far it hasn't done the littlest thing for the plot. I'm not complaining from a fan standpoint, because I personally like Supreme Kai better than Kibito Kai (although the latter is still great), but from a storyteller standpoint.

Let's talk about Piccolo for a change, what has he done since he was introduced ?

He lost to Goku.
He got destroyed by Raditz.
He couldn't do anything to Nappa and was eventually killed.
He did less to Freeza.
When he did have the upper hand against Gero and Cell they both got away.
He was only equal to #17 after getting a huge power up.
He was nearly killed by Cell.
He ran away when Gohan needed him the most during the Cell games.
He did NOTHING in the Buu arc.
He tried to pick a fight with Whis in the BOG arc which would've ended badly if Vegeta didn't step in.
He was killed by Freeza in RF.
He was kicked out of the ring after getting tricked during the Champa tournament.

Yet Vegeta is the one who doesn't do anything and is always getting the short end of the stick ? really ?

I get Piccolo looks cool so it probably covers up the fact that he's barely any more useful than Ymacha is...yet Vegeta is the one who's always under fire.

I'm sure Piccolo is popular because people just like the character. I don't think someone needs to have great feats to be likeable. One of my favorites is Pan, and what did she do? Almost nothing, right?

Of course not and I like him as well and wish he'd get treated better but I'm always amazed when fans (especially Piccolo fans) talk about how useless Vegeta is when he has nothing to his name.

Piccolo is the true badarse that Vegeta wishes he could be. To me it is just funny seeing Vegeta useless and since some people think he is 'the main character', he gets all the reaction. There is also the Goku vs Vegeta fanbase which usually likes one of them but dislikes the other whereas other character are usually like by both.

The biggest outrage from Super is still about what happened to Piccolo in the tournament.

I think it's just because people have higher expectations for Vegeta. Piccolo's rarely treated as an equal to Goku and he doesn't really care about being on his level either. Vegeta on the other hand does. I always think it's funny when someone calls one of the main character's useless though. They've all impacted the series in their own ways. I think Chiautzu might be the only one who's worthless. I mean he's literally exempt from ROF because of it.

Pretty much every character does this though. The most badass one is Vegeta versus Kid boo.

I've been watching Kai and I am at the discovery of cell right now but everything Krillin has done is because he doesn't quit and he does stuff outside of fighting too and same with Piccolo. I would love for Piccolo to at least get one fight in Super that he is equal or can win as a nod to him but it probably won't happen.

@animekitten I personally rather have Kabito Kai especially in Super because Supreme Kai looks too short and is animated very different from the way he looked in Z and that deeply bothered me. You are right though it hasn't done anything it was more like a "oh hey cool that happened" kind of thing.

That was in the anime, in the manga Vegeta was the only one who stayed with Gohan while the Batman wannabe ran away with Yamcha and Mr. Satan.

He didn't even catch Gohan when he fell.

Forget about the animation and stuff like that, I have never complained about that anyway.

How can people be outraged about Vegeta not killing Frieza when that did not happen in the film, that is 1 big plot point that could not be changed.

Many people have liked what has happened to Gohan and Gohan did not have any bullshit done to him either.

With Piccolo in the tournament, I have not seen any comment anywhere that has liked what happened to him but mostly the complete opposite. It is also still discussed and brought up quite a lot in a lot of different ways ( and no it is not just me ).
