it turned out in many illegal downloads, of course
i'm glad they are not making this game for another platform, ps3 was enough already to be honest, but nooo they want to make it for 360 one and ps4 too...just look at how ac4 turned out as multiplatforms game: ps4 version graphically is almost the same as the ps3 version, and xenoverse will be the same.
Also, on one and 360 xenoverse will sell nothing, like expected.

It's been established that you have a deluded sense of how PC game sales actually turn out. You can stop now.

Making a PC version is really quite easy in comparison to downscaling Xenoverse to last gen machines, assuming that Xenoverse is being built on PS4/XBOne first and then downscaled versus it being the reverse. That's the big deciding factor for who games look across generations - which was developed first?

And yeah, it won't sell well one XBOne and 360...in Japan. The 360, at least, has a HUGE install base in the US. There also happens to be a lot of gamers that grew up with DBZ either as one of their favorite past-time anime or as just a show that was on TV. It'll sell pretty well in the West on Xbox platforms.

It proves my point that the demand is there and Bamco realized it, they're even releasing Revolution. Everything you say about PC gaming makes me think you have a toaster that can't run any game on it and are jealous of people who can

nope, i just think that these kind of games are console only for a reason (two, mainly): pc piracy is easier and second, naruto, dragon ball and one piece fans buy the game for consoles, not pc. If they want to sell good on console, they shouldn't make a pc version, that's why they didn't, that and the fact that i know a lot of people saying phrases like "why should i buy it for console? Is coming soon on pc, I can (illegally) download for it". It's a fact, guys, wake up, not everybody does that, but it's VERY common, the same cannot be said for console. I know, consoles can be hacked too, but it's harder, you need specific firmwares and/or chips etc., with pc, everybody can do it with every pc, download and play, with consoles is not like that.

"Bamco thinks there is no interest in DBZ games for PC because people won't care about it, because there isn't a DBZ game on PC, because Bamco won't make it, because... GOD DAMMIT BANDAI NAMCO." Nice bait. I'm not gonna argue with you anymore, most people here already showed how wrong you are and you still don't wanna change your mind.

I've just about had it up to here with the absolute willful ignorance shown about piracy realities - both in the home video and video game market spaces - lately here in this community.

If you're ignorant on a subject, admit that you are. There's nothing wrong with that. You're a better person for doing so. Other people would love to discuss things with you from a more informed perspective.

Furthermore: capitalization and punctuation. I'm certainly not going to put ANY time into digesting your post if you're not willing to put in the effort of typing it properly in the first place.

These are all basic rules that you agreed to prior to registration.

Have you ever attempted to pirate and play a PC game? It's not as easy as "Click download. Click to play. Enjoyment!" I hardly ever hear anyone in my circle, or those I follow online, talk about their intentions to PC pirate. The worst I hear? "Eh, I'll pick it up on a Steam sale for $5." But hey, the studio is still getting money.

Just because something is going to be available for PC doesn't mean that console sales necessarily worsen. I'm failing to see how your conclusion follows that logic. I don't hear people say "I was gonna buy this really rad game, but they announced a PC version, so that means it's going to be crap. Not even gonna buy it anymore."

I really love Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst on my PC. It's awesome! And guess what? I paid for it. Happily. Digital distribution has never been easier or more customer friendly than it is now. I think you really need to take a look at how PC games perform when it comes to sales to see that it's not a struggling platform. Street Fighter IV didn't come to PC because Capcom was worried about piracy. They put Super Street Fighter IV AE out on it and it sold LIKE CRAZY. NUNS3FB came out on PC months after the console release. Guess what? It sold so well that NB are now releasing Revolution for PC on the same day as the console launch. PC gaming is becoming more and more widespread.

You don't have to play it on PC if you don't want to. There will be a console choice for you. And PC players aren't going to shit on you for playing it how you like. So please don't do the same for us. In the end, we all just want to enjoy these games and have the franchise be successful.

I didn't say "it's gonna be crap", simply you guys should GUESS why games like gta 5 didn't come for PC at day1...you know the answer right? PC piracy. And if you still deny, well...I guess I'm just less hypocrite than someone else.

I'd love this to come out on PC too. That way I could have it for cheaper (because here PC games are quite less expensive than console games) and it probably would be the better version (I only own a PS3 and I'm not exactly thinking of buying a PS4 because of this game...) :D
Also, quite excited about the character customization news 8)

You have a very gross, uneducated understanding of the video games industry and particular developers.

That is the most polite way I can phrase that.

Please stop and allow the conversation to return to XENOVERSE and its recent updates.

If you don't know ps3/x360 also have piracy on them so that isn't the reason

So Dimps already stressed that the game is in Alpha, I'm a little worried if the gameplay will get better in the final product. You guys think the gameplay will get better by the release?

We don't even know how the game plays yet lol, I'm sure DiMPS is taking notes of what worked in Brave Soldiers and reworking those aspects in XV.

The people who wrote that text are pretty ridiculous though, how they expecting to perform quarter circle motions in a game like this? This isn't that kind of game, that's obvious. Ruining their credibility (whoever they are) right there.
Edit: The only thing that I get out of this, is that the SF fanbase demands that the gameplay of SFIV must be applied into every other fighting game so it feels at home for them. Its never about anything else in the games that would actually balance them. People should never expect every game of the same genre to play the same, DBZ games need to be built on what works best for its own playing style not whatever popular thing SF does. Its basically what ruined Soul Calibur.

If they can balance out production time and not put to much into CAC. I dont know how they manage it, but either they divide the work up or put time away to rework the gameplay, so far they really need to advance it. Alpha or not, I'm worried it won't be at least Budokai level quality.

Zephyr wrote:The fandom's collective fetishizing of "moments" is also ridiculous to me. No, not everyone needs a fucking "shine" moment. If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

The only thing these tournament players people carried over from SF into every other fighting game ever made these days is just the controls they were raised on and the choppy animation frames so it feels at home for them. Its never about anything else in the games that would actually balance them. People should never expect every game of the same genre to play the same, DBZ games need to be built on what works best for its own playing style not whatever popular thing SF does. This is wrong on many levels. No 2d Fighter is the same, just like no 3D fighter is the same, just because they share some motions doesn't mean they can't have different mechanics. You're bascially saying Budokai 3 plays the same as Tekken or Vitrua Fighter.
