From BOG we see that Red form is very temprorary, can't stay in it for long. However, its energy gets absorbed so even when the user loses it he still retains most of its power. Presumably Goku can still turn Red at will for a short time, but for a longer power-up he needs to go SSJ which is now presumably permanently blue because of God ki absorption and he will never turn blonde again. Or he had to turn Red multiple times to fully absorb the God powers and after that happens he no longer can turn Red but instead his blonde mode goes blue.

I think this has become his regular Super Saiyan form.

He has absorbed the Super Saiyan God power, he doesn't need to turn Super Saiyan God anymore to tap into it.
But now, his energy inside his body has changed to a godly one, and a side effect of that is that the energy that made his hair golden is no more, it has been replaced with Godly energy that makes the hair bluish white.

It's just Super Saiyan with the side effect of not tapping into the same energy but a much more powerful one now, triggered just like before (meaning from base form).

Take it like his old energy was golden, making his hair golden, but the energy flowing inside him now is a Godly one that his bluish white, making the hair bluish white (or whitish blue).

I think I would've preferred a darker blue like Toriko's, but this is pretty nice too. Reminds me of Gintoki's hair when it turns blue XD. Prefer Gintoki to Toriko anyway

Dammit why couldn't we keep the SSJ3/SSJ God eyes. I think that'd have been cool. Ah well. Soon enough we'll have SSJ2/3 Blueku...or some different colour.

All the forms are still possible to have access, now, all the forms can be combined with the Super Saiyan God powers, by doing it, the regular transformations takes on blue color. If Kakarot wants just Super Saiyan God, it will be red and in base form. I think this is the way Toriyama wants to follow now.

You should know since Kaioken that the red form is always just a demo version of the Super Saiyan form.
Super Saiyan God was the Godly Kaioken (complete with the limited time you can hold it), and this form is the Godly Super Saiyan (complete with the "when you want it and as much as you want" conditions).

Just like you never saw Kaioken again, you'll never see red-haired Super Saiyan God again.
Red transformations are meant to be tossed away in favor of the upcoming Super Saiyan transformation, that seems to be their fate every single time.

I'm not really seeing why a new color is a huge dealbreaker for a lot of people. It's not like a powerup where someone's hair randomly turns blonde was any less outlandish.

I don't think there will be a next transformation.
Toriyama wants to keep it to the Super Saiyan, and even wanted the Super Saiyan to feel new after all those decades to show Goku and Vegeta's evolution to a divine road apparently.

I bet it will stay like that for remaining movies, with the color being used as a mere indicator to remind you that Goku and Vegeta are in the God category, not the other Super Saiyans.
No more mystic forms, no more Super Saiyan 2, no more Super Saiyan 3.
Just Super Saiyans, the Godly ones and the non-Godly ones.

Blonde is a natural color compared to blue/cyan. And the lore-background along with introduction was handled much better. Here we have "oh yeah, my hair just turned blue, lets fight!".

It's only a deal breaker for me where Gokû is concerned.
I love his regular magenta ssjg form. While it's not the most creative of forms, it's at least a distinctive change. Ssjblue is just that, a blue ssj. No change to muscle mass, no change to the ssj eyes. It's boring. It's a color swap. It's definitely not cute.

With Vegeta though, I don't care. Blue hair it up all he likes.

Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly fine to have resevations about it - I've said myself that I kind of preferred the idea of them just not transforming at all anymore. And before that I was all for Vegeta getting blue while Goku got red. My complaint was specifically directed towards the idea that it's the blue color itself that's the problem, when yellow and red or any color change to hair magically bringing more power, is just as outlandish when you think about it.

I don't know if I...you know what. I have zero opinions on this. Well..except one. He looks like a generic anime character that only gets 12 episodes not a GOAT character and he look like he came straight from the "create your own anime he generator" website.

Anyway it doesn't look great but I don't think it looks like complete s**t.
I do like the first picture with Goku in his fighting pose and the last one where he's locked with Freeza.

BUT THAT MIDDLE PIC WITH HIM ON HIS OWN ?!
The colour looks so off , like a washed out blue or blue and greyish ? it just looks like a really bad recolour aswell, absolutely hate it , just that frame though

Apart from that I give it a 6.5/10 I guess ..

It's better than the first design. I'll call this SSjGod 1 or just SSjGod.
and the red one is SSjGod ritual if its a one time only transformation.
