At least in Episode of Bardock we get to see a fine character with a fine transformation. Though, Dragon Ball Online didn't have to give Bardock a transformation, I don't know if the goddess Naho knows about it, but Episode of Bardock could surely expand Bardock's point of view of that game.

Definitely my favourite work from him in a long time. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be Toyotarō! His work is quite different, so I'm sure it's not.

I also did a little smoothed version to see how it'd look with that Dragon Quest style he's done in the past. Not a huge fan.

I'm always confused by Toriyama's art. His sketches for Battle of Gods were wildly inconsistent in style. The Super Saiyan God design looked nothing like the other stuff from around the same time frame.

Is there text on that page that says so? It looks so different to what we usually see.

The more I look at that picture the more I don't like it. Gold is the best maybe white or light gray, but blue? Don't do. Maybe I'm getting too old for this shit but it looks like Toei and Toriyama are focusing these Movies on a very very young audience. SSJGod Goku and SSjGodSmurf are a very cute transformation for little girls and boys to enjoy.

Cute is for adults, too.

Yeah, Yamamuro's character designs from that scan are the same modern designs he has always been using since 2008. It's just that he has improved his character models for this year's film.

No, it's definitely Yamamuro's. Toriyama's design for Golden Freeza is very different.

That sketch of Freeza looks significantly different to the one confirmed as Toriyama's sketch, I'd say.
The face is not as wide as AT's sketch.

I don't see blueper saiyan as cute tho. It's more cool/sleek.

The slim, big irises magenta ssjg is the cute one, imo.

Why does everyone have this seemingly mindless hate for episode of bardock? I liked how they gave what I always considered to be the most depressing story a more optimistic and redeeming sequel.
