Dragon Ball isn't DC, and up till now, all the info we've had about the other 11 universes in the movie and guides have implied that they aren't just alternate versions of the DB universe we know.
So I'll agree here. A Goku, Vegeta and Freeza in every universe? Bah. I wouldn't really find this interesting. It'd be a much bigger disappointment by shrinking the whole of the DB universe/franchise, which they had previously just set up to be basically limitless in potential.

It could juts be that Freeza is a special being that exists in every universe. But then again, why Freeza? Boo would make much more sense for that job.
He could be a Freeza from a different timeline, but if that's the case, then why didn't they revive everyone that died on Trunks' future?

I think it's obvious it's our Freeza.

Yeah, I mean what are the odds another Freeza is dead too? And how will reviving another Freeza in another timeline/dimension/universe affect our one? By the look of things it seems only Beerus and Whis knew of the twelve universes so I doubt many people in the other universe's know that other universes exist.

I think it's safe to say Toriyama doesn't care about what happened after the fight with Buu and for good reason cause all it'll do is limit where the story can go.

Does anyone else think were finally going to get that age old question of what their power levels are now, with the scouters making a come back?

I hope so. All the years of the internet inflating and deflating the power levels of character after the Freeza Arc have been an issue and have lead to people being misinformed. Maybe we'll finally get some closure and know exactly what the numbers are for certain characters and transformation.

Nah, I don't think so. Besides if it does provide new battle powers they'll probably be too low for my tastes.
So maybe Freeza's men trying to read Goku/Vegeta etc.'s power, being surprised it's a measly 5, only to then have their scouters blow up in their faces, when they power up.

I'll have a good laugh if Sorbet and Tagoma begin to use their scouters but Freeza tells them to destroy them because they are useless.

You guys are thinking of Frieza as just an old defeated enemy who can't compare to Goku now, but he's actually a very mysterious character that we know almost nothing about. I think Frieza's origin and race are going to turn out to play some huge role in the history of the Dragon Ball universe, and it's going to open things up for the other universes. Maybe Frieza is a descendant of a God, or his race is from a different universe... whatever it is, I'm sure it's going to be interesting.

I am excited about Vegeta being up there with Goku in the poster, so I fully expect he'll have a huge role!! To the point that maybe Toriyama wasn't lying about Vegeta being the star.

Toriyama wouldn't have said anything if it wasn't going to happen and the poster and villain prove that it wasn't just him talking.

I just hope they don't give Freeza a 5th form and make him as strong as a SSjG. That would be total fan wank and I would turn off the movie if they do that. Half of the people on Earth can easily beat Freeza now.

The scouters would just explode. Then again, this movie appears to be ignoring a lot of basic things about the series if this isn't fake, so that may not matter. Toriyama has actually used the term "battle power" plus numerical rankings recently in interviews, albeit not in that system.

If anyone else has an explanation for the god aura i'd like to hear it and keep in mind that Shenron now only grants one wish so him getting revived is the only wish in the movie.

Agreed, and expanding on that idea:
Unlike Boo, whose power is derived from magic and the artificial humans (and Cell) whose power was man made, Freeza is uniquely powerful as a biological being born of a father and not created by a scientist or conjured by a wizard.

Consider me hyped.

Freeza, the series' best villain, getting some more time in the spotlight as a serious threat, making up for his underwhelming Z Movie 12 and GT appearances? Heck yes.

Impending Ryusei Nakao and (hopefully) Chris Ayres voice work wonderfulness? Heck yes.

Possible further expansion on Freeza's race, past, and motivations that I've always wanted? Heck yes.

Vegeta presumably being the focused hero this time around and maybe serving Freeza some overdue payback? Heck yes.

The all-too-common "Freeza is now a worthless weakling who means nothing" attitude among some fans being murdered and buried with the same shovel? Heck yes.
