I don't think that's true. FUNimation can do whatever they want with the footage, seeing as they've cut it up before.

There would be a licensing nightmare, what with all the copyrighted content used, but even a lot of that is TOEI stuff licensed to FUNimation.

I mean, I don't see how it's much different to how, say, on the Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi DVDs they have Bloopers, where they often did parody-like voice-overs.
