BoG and Black arc. Based from Toei and Toriyama worked off that. Both met pretty positively by fans.
I am sensing a pattern here...
Toei's usually able to write more interesting and thought-provoking scenarios and concepts than Toriyama, they just lack in execution. Whilst Toriyama manages to execute most concepts brilliantly. When they team up, they manage to do great.
Exactly!! If they did this for GT my god that series would have been so good coupled with it's great music and production value.
Could you please provide a source were it says the Universe 6 was solely written by Mr.Toriyama? From what I gather the Universe 6 arc falls on the same same category as the Black arc.
BoG is also in a category of it's own. Mr.Toriyama changed a script, keeping some core concepts(Hakaishin, SSJG) and modifying and/or removing the rest. While the BoG appears to have started from a suggestion, we don't know how much input was given to him. It could have just been: "Remember Future Trunks, he's cool right? How nice it would be to have him again...

" Two weeks later... "Hum, should we tell him about the hair? Ignore it! Toriyama-sensei this first designs and draft are amazing!".
I don't think the pattern is that simply or else early Dragon Ball would be pretty bad, which isn't the case. Overall, Mr.Toriyama with a voice in his ear advising him about a detail here and there and controlling the more "unreasonable" ideas is his best iteration.
