Very nice.
For whatever reason, I really like how you drew the clothes.

Figure photography is okay to post, right?
I was mucking about with my camera and figures and I just happened to really like how these came out.

Only thing I edited was the contrast and such to create a lomography effect (because I’m too cheap to buy a real lomo camera.)

Do you have more of those StarRot? My first exposure to this kind of thing was some cards in the Pokemon TCG and I've loved it ever since. I've never seen it done with Dragon Ball before. Fantastic job.

Thank you very much!
At the moment, I don't have any other DB related photos like this, because I only really have static DB figures and they're hard to make look "natural".
Hopefully I'll get more articulated figures at some point and make more photos.
You might find some cool photos here:

I don't mean to be a weirdo but the more I think about Dragon Ball figure photography the more psyched up I get. I'm really thinking about getting into it. I've always wanted to get and use Dragon Ball action figures but I'm not much of a collector and it wasn't like I was going to go on wild pretend adventures with them. This is the perfect kind of project for my interest. I have tons of ideas floating around in my head. Thanks a bunch for the influence! I really hope to see more from you. You don't happen to have any beginners guides for this kind of thing do you? Or would it be more helpful just to dive directly into studying up on photography in general?

LOL, you’re not coming across as a weirdo or anything, don’t worry.
It is best to learn about photography in general, but I do have some tutorials that are particularly helpful for figure photography.

For general photography tutorials, I recommend the book “The Digital Photography Handbook” by Doug Harman.

Here are some photoshop tutorials, too.

Figure photography is a really fun hobby, I hope you enjoy it and take lots of cool photos.

1OOX, that really got off to a rough start, and I can't say that I read all the dialogue...but looking through those, I can tell that you're skills got better as you worked more and more on it. Good work!
