It's a Super Saiyan bargain sale..........see what I did there.

But you must be THIS tall to ride the SS train. [hair not counted]. But they HAVE showed SS Gotenm although he was in that ridiculous outfit.

Goten used to be my favorite....but he never really had a 'got his ass completed whooped moment' in the show.

I think a nice way to incorporate both of them would be to slip both of them into the main story in those 3 years of training for the androids. Chilled and Kuriza could be 'battling' to see who is the new ruler of the universe since everyone above them is dead. That could help bridge the strength gap jump in those years and could actually give Yamcha and Tenshinhan some more fight time since they didn't do much after 2nd form Cell, aside from a shot at Buu.
This is impossible to happen. Kuriza is a gag character from a parody. Chilled on the other hand is probably the main villain in "Episode of Bardock", and will be probably strong, not child's play for Yamcha and Tenshinhan. And don't forget that [SPOILERS SPOILERS] Bardock seems to have gone back in time, to the age of Tsufuru-jins, so Chilled must not be alive at the age of DBZ [END OF SPOILERS]
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Which ridiculous outfit are you talking about?

I dunno. The beating he took by the end of Movie 10 was pretty severe. o_o

The movie 10 fight was pretty good. I more meant like we have seen Goku and Vegeta get beat down so hard they couldn't move and somehow they save the game; and Gohan with the Cell fight.

I liked that Trunks had the little "choke on it" moment [that may have just been the Dub] when he throws a blast while the family kamehameha was going on. SS Goten had on that pants and long sleeve outfit where its white and light blue, and a light pink or purply color.

He never had that moment, no. Goten never had a lot of "moments" that the other regulars did.

He might have come into his own had he not existed for a mere third of the Z series. Instead, GT Goten was born, and abortion-rights supporters finally had the poster child with which to champion their cause.

...

Oh, right. DragonBall Heroes. Does anyone have any good images of the various cards, or know where to find them? I'm curious what cards Goten has, or rather just how much he has been included in the gameplay itself.

Haha.
He ... he's not that bad is he? I just started watching GT ... I'm a little afraid of what they do to one of my favourite characters.

I'm sorry, I realize that you were trying to make an honest point about why he ain't included-- and it makes sense-- but "fetus Goten" was just too good for this old dude not to laugh until I cried. Now I won't rest until Fetus Goten is a playable character.

Those vids make we weep comparing them to the BS we are being handed with this "i can't move out of the way of attacks and rock, papper, scissor" CRAP in Ultimate Tenkaichi.

I want an interview with whoever decided it was a good idea to force a player into something that beyond ridiculous and repetative.

Hatchihyakku will be in Dragon Ball Heroes for limited time. Curios how will it look like on this engine and graphics like that apart from Raging Blast 2.

Yeah, you missed the announcement a long time ago, but his inclusion was anything but limited. The mission to fight against him was only available for a short time in comparison, but they did make a card of him, so he is still playable:

Don't understand the game at all. They were working on it for a long time and added a plethora of characters or the game system is updatable and customizable for them to uploading new character and stages? The graphics and all looks like PS2 Budokai series.

Yeah, they are still usin the terrible[outdated] B3 models.

You would think after 6 years they'd update them, oh wait....they did for this newer game everything thought was the UT port [can't think of the name] yet THAT game only gets like 18 characters, what the hell!?

I prefer gaming over graphics, so the Budokai 3 don't bother me if it's fun to play.
My actual first games outside emulator were Budokai 3 and Infinite World.
I only don't understand this card system, where you have like 8 versions of one character and some ''random Heroes'' and each half a year they add new ones.
I saw some PDF sheets with up to date cards and there is like 70 characters with variety of versions???
I'm really confused and I'm curious about some full info like game engine, character roster, how the card -> game works and how all those cards with Nappa differ from each other for example.....
Reminds the old Famicon Datachi Tenkaichi Budokai, but that was rather simple when you compare it to this.

It IS more of a card game than anything else for the most part. It's basically like Dragon Ball's version of Yu-Gi-Oh!, only you actually have to move the cards on occasion to do actions (transform, power up, use certain special attacks). Each card has different stats, some come with special abilities or team attacks, others allow the character to transform, and the art on the card depicts the costume the character will wear when placed on the game board. Every 3 months or so they add new sets of cards to increase the roster, expand missions and prolong the life of the game.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cz9plj74 ... re=related

Generally what you see happening on the top screen, when the characters are actually attacking, is being done on the card mat game board as well. When the game tells them to move their card on the screen to trigger something, they have to move the card on the mat. The meter the appears during combat in the middle of a combo is used to determine if the attack is successful of if the opponent defends (this is similar to the ultimates in the Budokai games where you press the button and try to have you're gauge higher than your opponents).

Heres the rough roster:
Goku - Base, Kaioken, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3
Vegeta - Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan grade 2, Majin, Super Saiyan 3
Kid Gohan
Preteen Gohan - Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2
