You're not alone, I like them as well.
It's really a question of whether or not they're so over the top as to kill the mood, and they aren't always.

With DBE, I knew it was going to suck and watch it for cheesy laughs. Yeah the movie sucks but I rather watch DBE over something like Battlefield Earth (Which saw in theaters back in 2000). I personally don't find the other two live action films from 1989 and 1990 to be any better to be honest.

The English dub is total shit music compared the Japanese.
I mean come on Dan Dan Kokoro is not that bad.
I never said Dan Dan Kokoro was bad, just that it's placement when Goku was transforming into an Oozaru was terrible.

Speaking of Dan Dan, did they really feel the need to compose the song 4 different times?

1. Theme music and End music
2. Recap (Ok seriously, we just heard the song and not to mention it's use as a recap theme is terrible)

EDIT: Well, my main problem with it being used as a recap theme is just that it sounds way too happy, that it's jarring for me to see serious moments and fighting in a recap or other scenes with oddly placed music that felt like it was meant to be elsewhere in the episode or not there at all.

3. Goku transforming into Oozaru (I know I've complained about this before but... c'mon man!)
4. Oozaru Goku, Pan and Photograph (The only decent placement compared to the previous two)

Couldn't that count for Chala-Head-Chala too, though? Like we have to hear it straight after the opening theme?

Really? I never noticed it was Head-chala as the recap for Z.

Still learning new things every day I suppose.

Yeah, up until the Buu saga it was.

I don't think Dan Dan is any more out of place, personally. I quite like the recap version of it...although I think I associate it more with the Kanzenshuu podcast these days.

Ok well I know it's alway's Dan Dan over and over again, but I prefer it to step into the grand tour bassline. However I did like the rap at the beginning I learned all the lyrics
Also Saiga I thought the Metal music in movie 8 is suitable, I mean it really goes with his personality (Pretty much all broly does is scream the whole time) ,and I liked Tendril's opening theme remix (you know what I mean)

I like Mullet Gohan. It's better than Bowl Cut Gohan and really, mullets don't look that bad in anime.

After the timeskip where we recap on the adventure of Goku up until then.

I was kinda lost as to what to call it in that instance.

Here's another opinion of mine: Despite being a Season 3 script and performance, I find Dale Kelly's Ginyu to be the most entertaining to listen to out of all English Ginyu's.

Not sure if this a unpopular opinion but I always think Vegeta was never going to destroy the Earth during his fight with Goku. If Vegeta was going to destroy the Planet then he would died too since he would have no way to travel in space if his space pod is destroy. I think he was going through a usual anger outrage and his attack was only going to destroy Goku.

Dale Kelly is the best Ginyu. He's so fun but can be serious as well. I think out of all of season 3, Dale Kelly did the best out of all the actors.

I love his Ginyu! His screams were amazing as well.

Chris Sabat as Jeice made the character memorable in terms of the dub.

I agree. I think, without Sabat as Jiece, I wouldn't even like the character that much haha!
H just made the guy hilarious.

I've been saying this for years, so I agree with you 100%. Also he was the only one who could act at the time while everyone else was just reading off the script. The way he yells "CHANGE NOW!" sends chills down my spine.

Ohhh, yeah. Now I remember.

I will agree with you on one thing: they use Dan Dan a lot. But it's one of the best things to come out of GT, in my opinion, so I don't mind.

Here is a very unpopular opinion, I'm probably one of a few people that will say this but...FUNi season sets are better than Dragon Box!

Has to be due to the dub score as that's the only advantage it has.
