To answer the OP. This is the reason Broly gets hate. Because some fans like to hype him up and say, among other things, that he's a better villain than fucking Super Buu, King Piccolo, and Vegeta (though in the case of that video they were probably just trying to appeal to those fans...).

Kakarotooooo the rage, the torment. No one says it like it him. Broly is a monster & movie 8 is one of the best. Vegeta acts like the arrogant noble like hes suppose too, thats what I couldn't stand about the new movie.

When Broly first sees Goku, Goku with out even thinking looks him dead in the eye scared of nothing.. I love it

I do agree they could of done something better than keeping him awake as babies. The best way to look at it, is its some deep psycological trama Goku put him through. Have you ever been around an infant or baby that does that blood curling cry & wont stop for hours.. It will make you want to lose it..

But still, kinda weak..

And its not that he screams KAKARROTOH!!!! its the way that he screams it that I love. You can feel the hate.

Cant you just hear it, lol it is forever engrained in my head Broly saying Kakarrotoh, I tried to watch the dub of Broly couldn't even do it.

Honestly, if I did Broly, I would have him be the Anti-Goku, and he's also highly intelligent a la Super Buu. Not only is he the LSSJ, but he believes that he was the Saiyan Messiah meant to avenge his people and Goku (As well as Trunks) denied him that destiny. So he plots his revenge against "the usurper!". Creating his own Empire from the Remnants of Freeza's, he becomes such a threat that Kaioshin himself jumps in and tells Goku that the LSSJ is going to rampage across the stars. So, he and his friends head out to find and stop Broly. However, this has been a ruse, as Broly decides to lure them into a trap while he leads an invasion against Earth. When Goku and Vegeta return exhausted while fighting Broly's minions, they find that he has played them fools and is using the whole planet as a battlefield.

Sorry, the post was cobbled together. My interpretation of Broly is that because of his power, he felt he was destined to avenge the Saiyans. However, Goku denied him that with Namek, so Broly takes it out on him in a pretty cruel way. He scares the crap out of Kaio, who then gets Goku et al to head to where Broly is believed to be. However, Broly uses this as a ruse to take Earth while the heroes are away. When they return, they find that Broly is going to stop at nothing to have his revenge.
