Dragonball Timestream Chapter Two Outline
Scene 1
-We see Yamcha before he heads out. Tien, who looks mostly the same as he does in canon, with the exception being that he is blind in his right eye, wishes him luck, As does Chiaotzu who is dressed in an outfit resembling Draculas.
Roshi's young form resembles Jackie Chun with differently colored hair, and is wearing a loose fitting black and white Kame Gi. Roshi reminds Yamcha that his wife and son are watching, so he can't lose.
-Time Patrol Trunks steps forward and tells the crowd that he is the referee for the tournement. T1 Vegeta senses that he has become a god as well, and is proud. Trunks explains the rules of the tournement.
Scene 2
-Gohan studies Yamcha's appearence. Yamcha is also wearing a loose fitting Kame Gi with no undershirt, however his is in the Traditional color. He also has a sword sheathed on his back. Yamcha still has his wild man haircut from early in Z as well as his cheek scar, but he also has a short mustache like he did in early Dragonball Filler.
-The Match begins, and Yamcha opens with a Sokidan, which T16 Pan recognizes from the boxes.
-Gohan dodges the Sokidan every time it comes near him, made easy by the fact that he can sense the Blast's Ki. He keeps an eye on Yamcha so he's ready for Yamcha's next move, but he's hypnotized by the hand movements Yamcha makes to direct the Sokidan, resulting in him getting Struck. Yamcha immediately charges in, landing a Wolf Fang Fist on Gohan's dazed form. Gohan tries to retaliate, but Yamcha evades with Instant Transmission.
-Yamcha doesn't immediately reappear. Gohan keeps his guard up, but Yamcha surprises him by reappearing in the same location, then immediately using Solar flare.
-When Gohan's eyes recover, Yamcha has again disappeared. Gohan tries sensing his ki, but Yamcha has supressed it. Gohan is then stuck in the back by an invisible force. He retaliates, but his strike his empty air. He is struck once more, and again fails to retaliate. In the boxes, T2 Baba catches on to what Yamcha is doing and chuckles. He used the blinding light of the Solar Flare to hide himself Shapeshifting into an invisible man.
- Gohan is struck a third time. By now he has deduced that Yamcha teleports away after every strike, so Gohan calculates where he's most likely to strike next and tries his own pre-emptive strike. However, this fails as Yamcha himself predicted his prediction, and stayed in the same place. Yamcha tries to kick Gohan's leg out from under him, but Gohan reacts quickly enough to jump over it, and then kicks Yamcha in the face. Yamcha is knocked away and his Shapeshifting disipates.
Scene 3
-T1 Yamcha and Puar remark about how skilled T10 Yamcha is.
-Gohan fires off a Masenko, and Yamcha turns. The ki attack is absorbed into a jewel on the hilt of Yamcha's sword. Afterwards Yamcha turns, popping two capsules in the process. Inside are two tommy guns, which he fires at Gohan.
Gohan is surprised to find that he's hurt by the bullets. None of them piece his skin, but they leave severe bruising. Yamcha drops the guns, explaining that they eat through his bullets really quick. Gohan asks how the bullets can hurt him, and Yamcha explains that the bullets are specially designed to be strengthened by his ki.
-Yamcha nexts reveals a deck of cards, which he makes a show of shuffling before scattering them accross the ground.Gohan carefully considers his next move, wondering what the cards do. While he's focused on them, Yamcha grabs the guns once more, and shoots Gohan again. Yamcha once more drops them, and explains that against a strong opponent like him, the guns need the element of surprise to do any damage. So he used a deck of regular old playing cards to distract him. Gohan destroys the guns, then asks why he even has a deck of cards in his belt, to which Yamcha answers "Poker night"
- Gohan begins to power up, his aura becoming golden and gaining lightning, though his hair does not change. T1 Goku comments that he's learned to internalize the power of his super Saiyan forms into his base form
-Yamcha announces that his has his own transformation, and kicks off his sandles. He begins to transform into...a werewolf
Scene 4
-T1 Puar comments on the change, commenting that it's something 'More' than a simple bit of Shapeshifting.
-Yamcha lets loose a roar, which paralyzes Gohan for 5 seconds. Yamcha uses that time to pummel him with a Wolf Fang Fist (taking care not to use his claws on Gohan), then using a powerful ki attack his calls the Wolf Fang Gale Cannon.
-Gohan's gi is now heavily damaged, and he's bruised and bloody in several places. Yamcha explains that his paralytic roar will work on him 5 times total, before he developes an immunity to it.
-Gohan charges Yamcha, but is once again paralyzed by the roar. Yamcha lands several attacks on Gohan, before backflipping away as the paralyzation wears off. Internally, Gohan notes that Yamcha's defenses are down just before he uses the roar, and that the paralyzation only lasted 4 seconds that time.
-Gohan and Yamcha engage in a melee. Their skill is near even, with Yamcha having a slight edge, but Gohan's strength is superior
-Yamcha Instant Transmissions into the air and uses his paralyzing roar. He charges a kamehameha, and fires it. The paralyzation wears off just in time for Gohan to dodge. Yamcha uses the roar once more, and retrieves a card from his belt, explaining that he grabbed it when he backflipped away from Gohan. The Kamehameha hits a card on the ground, and then comes out of the card in Yamcha's hand. To Gohan's shock, the paralyzation lasts longer than two seconds. Gohan is struck.
-As the dust clears, Yamcha says he can control how long the paralysis lasts, and deliberately shortened it each time in order to lead Gohan into his trap.
- Gohan, To Yamcha's surprise, is still ready to fight. He begins to fight, prompting Yamcha to reveal a grenade launcher. He fires it at Gohan, and the chi grenade detonates in a huge explosion. However, when the dust clears, Gohan is again still standing, this time with a streak of blond in his hair
- Abruptly, Yamcha lands and reverts to his human form. He then announces that he's forfeiting the match. He explains that he's got a good idea of Gohan's power now, and that the only way he could beat him would be to use lethal force, which he's not willing to do for a tournement. Gohan compliments him, saying "In terms of power, I'm stronger, but you're far ahead of me in skill." Yamcha waves it off and says "Naw, way I see it the two of us are at our best when we're going up against stronger opponents. That's when we're in our element. I was just in my element this time. "
Scene 5
-Chichi and Yamcha's kids green him after his match and tell him how good his fight was.
-T5 Piccolo repairs T5 Gohan's clothing. Gohan is disappointed with his performance, but Piccolo reassures him that he did fine.
- Whis announces the next match: Gohan of Timeline 1 vs. Piccolo of Timeline 1
- Beerus comments on the improbability of having two fighters from the same universe be matched up, and says that it must be Whis' fault.
Scene 6
- T1 Gohan enters the ring, and does a routine as Saiyaman. The crowd applauds politely.
- Piccolo enters the ring silently. When the match begins, Piccolo immediately stretches his arms out for a punch. Doing so causes the other two Piccolo's, as well as Cell, to curse under their breath.
- Gohan runs up Piccolo's arm and kicks off his face, shouting "SAIYA KIIIIIIIIIIICK!"
- Piccolo tries a variety of stretched limb attacks, but Gohan manages to block, dodge, or parry them all, each with a proclamation as Saiyaman. T1Vegeta notes that Piccolo has become stronger than Goku was during their battle against Majin Buu. However, he says that Gohan's antics are embarrassing.
- Piccolo is fed up, and tells Gohan not to patronize him. "Attack me seriously."
-Gohan does so, landing a devastating punch to Piccolo's gut that leaves him gasping for air.
-As Piccolo floats back to the ground, he has a flashback
Scene 7
-In the Flashback, Piccolo tells Gohan after a training session that he hasn't actually lost any of his power. He is merely lost the ability to access it in his base form because his body tenses up in combat. Piccolo advises Gohan to find a way to fight confortably
- In the present, Piccolo catches his breath and thinks to himself that he understands now.
- Gohan lands in from of Piccolo, and asks if he's okay, Piccolo responds with a surprise attack, eyebeams that split apart Gohan's helmet. As his face is revealed, one of the audience memebers says "I expected him to be bald."
- Piccolo begins landing hit after hit on Gohan. As he attacks, he says "You have to fight as yourself. right now, it might be preferable to be 'Saiyaman' but at the end of the day, you will always be Son Gohan! and don't give me any hogwash about not being good enough. Son Gohan is brave, he's kind. And above all else, Son Gohan is strong. Strong in body, and strong in mind!"
-Gohan roars, and power up, blowing Piccolo back. Piccolo grins as he sees Gohan come into his own. He says to Gohan "Gohan, I've always said your potential is astounding, but I've neglected half of it. Yes, you're power is great, but so to is your mind, and if you can find a way to combine your strength with your mind, You'll soar higher than any of us dared to dream."
- Gohan nods in determination. Piccolo powers up, his muscles bulking up in a fashion similar to an Ascended super saiyan. They clash, and after several minutes of intense back and forth combat, Piccolo is defeated.
-As they exit, Whis announces the next match: Roshi of Timeline 10 and Uranai Baba of Timeline 2
Scene 8
-Baba and Roshi enter the ring.
- Baba transforms into a bikini clad form, and Master Roshi pretends to be embarrassed and flustered for his sister, and he runs around the tournament with Baba chasing him. Then when she's about to capture him, he performs a 10 hit kata on her, admonishing her for thinking he'd be into his own sister.
-Baba gets angry and summons a group of meteors from the sky. Roshi survives the attack easily
-Baba gathers the resulting flames into a ball of fire which she sends after Roshi. After evading it for a short time, he destroys it with a ki based fire attack of his own
-Baba casts a spell to summon a golem made of white clay whom she names Kazoola. Kazoola is tall and broad, with Fists nearly as large as Roshi's enitre body. Very stocky, almost square
-Kazoola's blows are strong enough to force Roshi to dodge his attacks, but Roshi smashes him to pieces with a wind based Ki attack.
-Whilst Roshi's back is turned, Kazoola reforms and smashes him into the ground, then merges his hand into the arena to try and knock Roshi out by lack of air.
-Roshi breaks free by bulking up. Kazoola attacks him, but Buff Roshi grabs his wrist and hurls him into the air. Roshi slims down and prepares a Kamehameha. Kazoola dodges the attack by splitting into seven smaller copies of himself. Baba takes advantage of the distraction to attach a sutra to Roshi's back that makes it impossible for him to release his Ki. However, Roshi has mastered the internal ki Technique used by Gods, so he's able to fight off the
Kazoolas. Once he's smashed them all, he has enough time to remove the Sutra.
-Kazoola reforms, but Baba casts a spell that ramps up the gravity around Roshi and Kazoola, crushing the golem. Baba then summons Spike the devil man from the afterlife to use his Devilmite ray on Roshi, but Roshi is unencumbered by the gravity, and swiftly makes his way behind Devilman, knocking him out with a chop to the back of the head.
-Baba decides to unleash her trump card: She summons an ancient beyond from beyond time, the eldtrich horror Innsmouth. Roshi defeats it in one punch.
- Baba is terrified of Roshi's power, and tries a chant which creates flames that will purge any mortal. Roshi looks panicked, and rushes away, but the flames appear in the whole arena. Baba gloats at her victory, but suddenly Kazoola's injured form is tossed out of the ring. Baba then sees Roshi, completely unharmed by the spell.
-Baba demands "What is the meaning of this?!". Roshi explains that he didn't want Kazoola to die, since it's an innocent. Baba screams that she wants to know how Roshi is uneffected. "Oh, that simple. I'm a god"
- Baba receives a vision of Roshi dealing her a horrible defeat, and faints.
Scene 9
-Roshi carries Baba to her Timeline's box. Tapion asks him how he made her faint, and Roshi explains that when he developed a way of giving seers false messages because Baba wouldn't stop playing pranks on him as a kid
- We catch a glimpse of Timeline 11's box as Whis announces the next match: Garlic Jr. of Timeline Eleven vs. Bardock of Timeline Four
