Doing a Kamehameha while flying could look pretty nice on the big screen if they handle it right. I'm looking forward to it.

Ya, that would be cool, and I could almost see them doing that.

*Wonders how Astro Boy, who's movie doesn't come out til October, gets a screening at Comic Con next month and yet the live action movie, which comes out in April (well, March) still doesn't have any trailers in theaters yet*.

Utterly bizarre. o_O

It's strange thinking back to how I went to see The X-Files movie on opening day (July 25) instead of The Dark Night all because there were rumors that the DragonBall trailer would be included. Now, even if I knew for a fact that a certain movie was going to contain the trailer, I would use that as an excuse to go see it (and that's not all because the trailers have already been leaked/released).

Still taking questions?

Can you describe Oozaru and/or ShenLong?

How much flying is there?
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

Is the Kamehameha used a lot? Does Piccolo have any special moves?

I haven't been following the live-action threads very much, so JAPPO, do you know all of this becasue you've actually seen the movie, or you've just collected a ton of tidbits of info over the months?

He got a hold of a copy of the script.

Here's a couple questions for ya.

1: Any references if not appearances by minor/secondary characters like Gyu-Mao (Ox King), Oolong, Tenshinhan, Kintoun, etc?

2: I don't want any specifics, but does it end on a cliff hanger that leads into a sequel? Or does it simply have an open ending that leaves the possibility of a sequel without really shoving it in your face that there will be more movies?

Nyoi-bo, and that's awesome news. It looks like they're trying to be closer to the original in that respect. Does the script or draft or what ever say "Son Goku" or "Son Gohan"?

No, but that's about the only thing. They avoided that (this is just a guess but it's pretty obvious) so people wouldn't be confused.

When you said "shoving it in your face" I thought up this great parody where everything's all worked out and the battle's over. Skip to a few years later, everyone's happy, they're having a barbecue ("Nothing bad's gonna happen today!") and, out of nowhere, some spiky-headed jerk in space armor lands right outside the group.

Goku's response?

"Cool."

Credits.

I would laugh my ass off!

For the life of me, I can't seem to find the "I'm not ready for this" line in the script. "Cool" is there, but not "I'm not ready for this."

I think Chatwin recorded that at Fox studios specifically for the trailer. Who knows, though, maybe it was added by the director.
