Very much hope this will be dubbed & we'll get an update to Sparking Zero to add English voices to the Daima characters. It's so odd to me how that happened. Like, I know I said there's the video game voice actor strike in that thread, but if this doesn't have an English dub, I'm not gonna play it until it does since I vastly prefer to play these games in English than Japanese.
Only dubs that matter are DB, Kai, & Super. Nothing else.

Then I wouldn't expect part 2 before late autumn.

Considering how long it's taking just to get this part out, I'd say we'd be lucky if we didn't have to wait until 2026 for part 2.

We already know that the second part is tentatively scheduled for release sometime between January and March 2026.

Be sure to check out the main website for news sometimes, too...!

Thanks for the heads up; I wasn't aware they said anything about the 2nd part. I'm a bit surprised about how slow they seem to be putting out these DLCs, for both this game and Sparking Zero. The first part is covering material that we saw all the way back in 2024, while the 2nd part will cover material that will be a year old by the time it releases. I remember XV2 was putting out material as it showed up on Super at the time.

Vanilla game is pretty empty and boring (aside form the main missions), so I doubt than a mere DLC is going to give us plenty of content.

I'm not interested in playing Daima but am impressed at the amount of DLC Kakarot is getting. I recently bought it for Switch and have to say that some of the DLC, like the Trunks one, is pretty amazing. (As long as you buy it in a sale)

Most of the DLCs after the first one are pretty good, tbh. The Trunks one's the best of the batch so far.

The Trunks one almost felt like a separate game on it's own. I also completed the End of Z one. That one was certainly fun, but it had way less budget than the Trunks one.

Gameplay introduction for the Daima stuff. Confirms that the Daima stuff's finally dubbed into English for at least 1 of these games. I hope they patch in English voices for Sparking Zero & XV2 soon as well.

It's sad that we're getting the crap that Daima was instead of OG Dragon Ball that Kakarot game is just perfect for.

Not...really? Daima's the newest DB content & the last piece of DB content from Toriyama. Of course they'd want to adapt it to capitalize on it. They even announced this DLC a while ago, so I don't know why that's disappointing.

As for OG DB, they did do a bit of that with the 23rd World Tournament arc adaptation. As for any more, I think that'd be better for a prequel game, tbh. A game that can be full-length & have the time & resources allocated to it for development. I'd like to see it too, but I just don't see it happening with the game we have unless they do like 2 more season passes to cover everything. At that point, though, the question would then be "Why not just do a new game built off the foundation of the first one?"

After the Daima DLC, there's still a lot Kakarot could do:

Tournament of Destroyers, Goku Black, Tournament of Power, Super Broly, Super Hero

GT

OG DB

Z Movies

Super would work as DLC imo but OG DB on the other hand should be it's own game

There was a rumor awhile back that Cooler and Broly's movies were next, but Daima seemingly pushed them back awhile.

Cooler, I wouldn't believe. Broly, unless it was the Super version, I wouldn't believe either. Don't believe bullshit rumors that don't have any real basis, bro.

You wouldn't belive the two most popular Z villians thst tie back to the Main game were rumored DLC?

Broly is onow for saying Kakarot and Cooler ties into Frieza which is nuff said. Even fusion Reborn and Tree of Might would have tied in good to the game.

It was from the same source that leaked the three stories present in the 2nd season pass. Z's two most popular movie villains being in a Z-focused game isn't exactly out of the realm of possibility.

Cooler, no. He's still not canon & the game (while adapting a few fillers from Z for side stuff & adding on to the 2 Z TV specials & the End of Z/the manga) has only stuck to canonical materials from the manga & Super/the last 2 Z movies. Daima's canonicity is in debate because of the discontinuities between it & Super's events, but it was also written by Toriyama & the newest DB content, so of course they were gonna adapt it like I've said before. I'd expect them to adapt Cooler into the Super stuff to make him canon like Toriyama did with Broly before they'd put him into any official timeline since neither of his movies really line up with the manga timeline.

As for Broly, him just yelling Goku's birth name a lot in the 3 Z movies doesn't make for a definitive "yes" on him being adapted into the game. And as I said, I'd sooner expect his Super incarnation to be adapted rather than the original due to 1. Being canon & written by Toriyama & 2. Being better-recieved by most of the fanbase than his Z incarnation. You have to think of these thinks like a corporation rather than the fanbase. Yes, the corporation wants to do things to appease & take the money of the fanbase, but they're gonna focus more on the new stuff than the old if it's more currently popular. Super Broly has more bite to him anyways, so I'd prefer him over Z Broly any day of the week.
