No word as of yet.
What about the 13 movies?

They have them, but no word on if they'll be packed with the DB movies.

I'd rather have them separate, since the four DB movies are good.

Wouldn't that deviate from the Dragon Box: Movies release, which would incite a riot here on Daizenshuu EX? :D

I'd rather they release the movies just as Toei did.

I'd much rather have seven people arguing with each other then spend hard-earned money on DBZ Movie 3.

Yeah a 17 movie box set just like Toei's release would be good IMO. But that could be an issue if they didn't get the 4 Dragonball movies.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

dude i am so happy these are coming out i was thinking i was going to have to save hella money to buy them when i go to japan but thankfully i wont have to. and now i can get rid of the retarded season 1 set i have. i just cant watch it i only bought it cause it was on sale. screw funimation for making us wait so long to get an original copy of dbz here in america. but also love them for releasing the dboxes. been waiting since 2003 to get these.

Well, if we can handle FUNi bringing out the DBZ DBox in seven sets instead of two, we can handle FUNi bringing out the Movies DBox in two sets instead of one.

What? The Dragon Boxes are going to be in 7 sets!? I thought it was going to be just like the Japanese Dragon Box release of 2.

True enough. It's just what if they don't release a Dragonbox set for Dragonball?

Then we're stuck with 13 out of 17 movies in DBox format. A bit incomplete but it's a lot better than not releasing the movies at all until they get the Dragonball DBox.

I'd rather pay for 80 bucks insead of 500. I refuse to buy 2 sets.

Bring it on in 1 set. I'd like to pay it off owning all DBZ movies in Dragon Box format.

Except If they did release them as they were in Japan, they'd be approximately $280 and $274, respectively, going by the price per episode of the first set FUNi is putting out for Z(two dollars an episode, rounding up.)

It's going to have the same spine art and box art and the footage contained on the discs are going to be the same. But, to make it more affordable, there's going to be seven sets.

Thank goodness they are being released in 7 sets. I could never in all good conscience pay $300/$400 or more at one time on just Dragonball Z episodes.

The only problem I have with the Dragon Boxes being released in 7 sets instead of two, is just space. I would've preferred to have less amount of boxes altogether. But I'm not gonna complain, because the FAR improved price over the JP DBoxes is a good enough trade. xD I'm so excited!

If I may ask, what company distributed DBZ?
