Oh, I see they added golden lightnings around Goku.
Although it spreads a little on Bils, you can see it is absent from the left-most part of the picture but here on the right-most part of the poster, clearly intended to be associated with Goku.
Super Saiyan 2? Maybe.
It was about time we got more hints about this movie!

I have a feeling the white haired Supreme Kai-like being is going to be the good guy who helps the Z fighters against Bills.
Metalwario64 wrote:Chuquita wrote:So we're looking more at a "Brice" then?
That would be "Burisu". The difference between "Birusu" and "Burusu" are the first syllable, and make more sense when you say them aloud.
Birusu -> "Bii-els" -> "Beels" -> "Bills"
Burusu -> "Brr-uuse" -> "Bruce"
That's the best way I can explain it, but I imagine someone who actually knows stuff about the Japanese language can explain it better. I guess you could also say that for a "BR" sound you'd have to use "BU" followed by a syllable starting with and "R" sound.
Hmm, thanks for this breakdown.
What does "Birusu" mean? The translation of Bills doesn't sound like a cool name. It's pretty generic.
updating my post. there is a HQ version of the scans. 2004 x 3000 · dimensions

Thanks for a bigger picture of the poster!

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Hmm, noticed that woman (who I think we all belive is Videl?) has a logo on her shirt that I'm not too familiar with. Is that the Mr.Satan logo? It could be nothing more than just a logo on a shirt. Or it could be... something... ::squinty thinking eyes::

This large scan makes things much clearer, everyone's expressions, Whis looking more like a dude who serves Bils (His shoes also look less girly, pretty clowny, actually), oh and I'm rather interested in the floating area in the background.
EDIT:

Yeah, a pretty long one at that, so I guess he
is a Cat then

Julian, where did you get that Yamadera had filled in for Suzu'oki for Tenshinhan in Dragon Ball Z episodes #82 and #84? I remember Wikipedia saying that, but had never seen such on Kanzentai. Was this listed on his professional resume? O.o Anyway, super shounen work on th' translations!
Finally, names we can call these dudes!

Am I the only one who thinks that those weird Dragon Ball pens look a bit impractical? (Also, where's the four-star ball?)

That looks like devil's face, which definitely implies the woman is Videl.

YES!
Totally impractical! I was actually looking at my hand and moving my fingers deciding how someone would hold that thing.

Yea. I guess that makes sense. OK, I'll join the "that's totally Videl" club.

I think the 4-star Dragon Ball is the one being used as a pen in that pic

This movie is gonna be goooood. Getting pretty psyched. Foundations will be rocked!
Also could Beels perhaps also be a pun on beelzebub?

Has the teaser trailer that's on the official site been there for a while? Never really saw any discussion on it, even though there's really nothing about it to discuss. Finally went to the official site for once instead of just this thread and the homepage!
@Tanooki Kuribo: I noticed that too but chalked it up to either a major coffee spill or the Satan family mark (<- pun) similar to the Son mark of Goku's family.

But to the side it says "A Set" and "B Set", the 4-star isn't listed with either.
Edit: I also think they're meant to write in different colours.

That sounds like a good idea

No. Beelzebub is pronounced as "beruzebubu" in Japanese, and it's not similar to "birusu" at all. Maybe these look/sound like each other to Indo-European language speakers, but this kind of change in vowels hardly happens in the Japanese language.

Is it just me or does Bils appear to have wished for youth. He looks a lot older and weaker in the new scan. Maybe he steals the Dragonballs from Pilaf and the gang? LOL

Yeah, I know it's a poster, but that's WAY too different from that other piece of art
