Holy cow, I'm kinda pleased for this new characters. Toriyama promised new characters, Toriyama delivered.
I say kinda because the lack of a female fighter (Is that mini Gohan a girl?!) is disappoiting.

It was disappointing to me at first that we didn't get an female saiyans, but then I remembered that Vados is the strongest Dragon character we've seen so far and she is woman, so it softens the blow.

Hmm, wonder if the Universe 6 Freeza can transform?

He should be able to as Freeza's true form is supposed to be how their races true form and these other forms were designed to suppress their power.

I feel like this gets forgotten in a lot of things though.

It's only ever stated to apply to Freeza(and even that is debatable). Freeza could simply be a further mutation from Cold, making all normal Freeza race people more or less similar to Freeza's first form, whereas Cold could have mutated into that 2nd form Freeza equivalent.

Not only that. Dragon Ball World is infinite. Now with all these 12 universes, they have even more material to milk this forever.

If they get tired of Universe 7, they can try using other universes. That mini Gohan and Robot from Champa's team could much be main characters from other Toriyama manga.
Possibilities are endless now, and can open the doors to new writers.

Just put the Dragon Ball name on it and try.

Was Beerus' design disliked by people when it was revealed? I pretty much liked him and Whis since the first time I watched the movie.

I didn't like it him at first, I though he was weak or somekind of henchman of the real villain that I though it was Whis, but over the time I get used and started to like it.

When Beerus vs SSJ3 Goku was released online a lot of people lost their shit, because how the almighty Goku SSJ3 got owned by a cat. Good times.
Now most of them already love him.

I'm not sure about Beerus, but I get the feeling a big twist will be how powerful Goku, Vegeta and the others actually are, during this tournament.

Well, Buu is up there too maybe he absorbs Piccolo in order to pass the test (I'm not serious, of course).


Anyway, what do you think the order of the battles is going to be? Certainly seems like Purpiccolo is the "final boss". How I hope it goes:

Buu vs Robot dude - Buu wins;
Buu vs Yellow bear - Buu wins;
Buu vs Freeza - Buu loses;
Piccolo vs Freeza - Piccolo wins;
Piccolo vs Saiyan - Saiyan wins;
Vegeta vs Saiyan - Vegeta wins;
Vegeta vs Purpiccolo - Vegeta loses;
Monaca vs Purpiccolo - Monaca loses;
Goku vs Purpiccolo - could go either way.
