Silverstein's Hisoka is perfect IMO, what else is he missing besides sounding like a creepy horny pedo. Gon and KIllua's actors have also improved greatly from the start. I agree with you that the biggest problem with the dub is not the acting, It just sounds a bit wooden because the translation is to literal.
But they shouldn't try to improvise the scripts too much or we will get another Ghost Stories type of dub :D
But...but...I love the Ghost Stories dub.
But it's hard to be taken seriously.
I prefer Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, DB/Z/GT Movies, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT in Japanese.
For DBZ Kai and two new Movies I like both Dub and Sub. I Prefer Shunsuke Kikuchi Soundtracks over All other Composers.

However, people are giving the 4kids voice acting in the One Piece dub WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much credit. I REALLY dont like the Voice acting on it and people keep claiming its actually better than the Funi dub. Marc Diraison was awesome same with Lisa Ortiz and Erica Schroeder could have been better with better directing and writing but the voice acting on the 4kids dub is TERRIBLE.
I'd never give 4Kids credit for what they did with One Piece. I, however give them credit for having good voice actors.

Whose claiming 4kids Piece is better than Funi's dub? :eh: :wtf: I mean Diraison's Zoro voice is the only thing I prefer over Funi's dub, but overall the 4kids dub is bad all around and Funi's dub deserves nothing but praise  .

The anime in it's original form is pretty much crap anyway, It literally flopped so bad they said "do whatever you want with it".

I like the Funi dub, but I find Clinkenbeard's Luffy to be a bit raspy.

It's a bit to raspy now after the timeskip, I don't like how the director or whoever is trying so hard to make him sound like a 19 year old when Tanaka does not sound 19 at all.

It's not supposed to be. The anime completely bombed in Japan, the creators basically said "have fun" to whoever dubbed it. (I believe Funimation but not 100% sure)

It's similar to DBZ dub's case accept the fact that DBZ was a big hit in Japan but FUNi Americanized it to make it a big hit in US by changing scripts, adding unnecessary lines and what's worse, it changed the OSTs too and also Ghost stories dub had pro voice actors unlike Z dub.

Seriously dude, I'm not a fan of it anymore than you but your beating a dead horse at this point by repeating the same points every chance you get.

it look like I didn't made myself clear, I was not trying to really trying to criticize DBZ Dub there as I already had in older posts but I was trying to tell how similar the situation in Ghost Stories dub was which was done by A.D. Vision not FUNimation by the way. I was just pointing out that using actual voice actors makes the dub even more hillarious because Those voice actors can emote in that way. One Piece, Pokemón, Digimon, Yugioh all got heavily altered Dubs but the use of actual voice actors added a plus to it for English audience even though it was bad dub. I think Localizing both GS and DBZ dub worked in favour of their audience.
I prefer Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, DB/Z/GT Movies, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT in Japanese.

The Funi Z dub may not have had professional voice actors, but you could say they are now.

Yes the 10 years experience of voicing in Video games, etc., Has made them understand the Character even more but if we talk about old dub, Linda Young's Freeza is easily on of the many thing wrong with the old dub but Recasting Freeza in Kai dub is one of the reasons which made Namek Arc watchable in English So when anyone talk about Kai Dub's Greatness Chris Ayres Performance is what comes to everyone's mind.

Actually it's the fans which make me hate the dub when they constantly relate DBZ with it instead of Kai Dub or Japanese version like, before a Dub Episode of Super Sean tweeted that how much much he was excited to Voice Gokū in the next Episode and fans were replying by #HopeoftheUniverse, #Protector of the Innocent ,#Allytogood ,etc. Which really pisses me off how even in 2017 they don't realize that it's not real goku, even a guy on twitter told him and maybe sabat that they wanted their old voices back in Kai dub specially Sabat. and I am not saying that liking it is bad but I don't like how the Z dub fans say "Kai is shit original is better" as if Z dub is the Original and the Japanese version is not.

I share your sentiments here, OG dub fans as a whole are pretty one track minded, hyprocritical and delusional, and Funimation isn't doing anything to help the cause by barely even acknowledging Kai's existence and only usually referring to the OG dub.

But what you need to come to terms with is, technically, the Funimation dub is the only complete English dub of the original show, and it will likely always be as such. If they had re-dubbed all if DB/Z (maybe GT? Meh whatever) maybe it would be viewed differently but as it stands they only dubbed Kai which will always be viewed as an inferior side project by OG dub fans. Of course, they'll go ahead and be hypocrites by saying Kai sucks but praising Super when both sound pretty similar, but that's just how things are. Just be glad Kanzenshuu exists

I guess one of my gear-grinds is using that kind of exaggerated language to describe your fellow fans. Delusional? Really? For something as minor as that?

No, they're just fans of a show from when they were kids and haven't really hit a certain maturity point yet to recognize they're being a tad bit ridiculous.
