Toss me in that group as well. It's certainly not as good as the Bardock TV Special and was never given the chance to be fleshed out, but I don't really hate it. I just accept it for what it is.

I'll go so far as to say I like it. Could have used more to it, but for a short little flashback, it had some elements I like (and I honestly appreciate that the plot is far less contrived than the Bardock Special's was, despite its good points), though I won't deny it had flaws.

Minus gets a crazy amount of hate for what is really an inoffensive piece of fluff at worst.

I don't hate Dragon Ball Minus either. I mean, there are quite a few legitimate criticisms you could make against it, but it was just a 15 page one shot, that was never given the chance to be more than what it was.

I like it, too. I was kind of surprised at the amount of hate it had in this forum after listening to the podcast episode about it.

It was the video, yes. Do not get confused by the word "summary". You probably know more about it than was said in the video. It is merely to introduce the movie and summarize a few important things, whether it being about Dragon Ball or some important points of the movie. It is not like the entire movie gets spoilered.
