I'm starting to wonder if The little saiyan is actually the exact opposite of Tarble... Female, loves to fight, super powerful, the pride of the saiyans. Instead of what Tarble actually is, or at least what he is in U7?

I disliked the 5th fighter but let's see how it goes, at least U6 characters seem cool, specially the one in the front. The robot and the bear feel freshing at least.
I just hope Toriyama remembers that he's still creating a story/universe instead of slapstick troll comic and will give us an actual Jarama Shenlong design, not some tiny parody dragon with nipples "because strongest is smallest hihi" yawnnnnn. I loved Porunga's design, hope new dragon is just as big yet different yet fitting with other 2 Dragons we already know
This. that gimmick has become annoying.
Not to me. Some of the best character designs we've seen in Dragon Ball have been centered around defying the norm of "bigger is better". Freeza, Beerus, Whis, Majin Boo, Jaco etc.

I don't think this new saiyan is a girl no matter how much I look at him. But yeah I dont like this decieving look to a lot of Toriyama's character designs. Sometime's I want a badass that just looks badass you know? Also I'm in the minority with this when I say I dont like whis as a design and a character. He's just too flamboyant, and most of his humour is just him enjoying food or making kawaii faces. I really like beerus though.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

And some of the best have been playing straight up to the "bigger is better" norm. Piccolo, Cell, SSJ3, SSJ4, etc. Besides, when you do the "defy the norm" design so often, it becomes predictable on itself and no longer defies anything as it becomes the norm itself.

Loving everything about this so far. The U6 character designs look awesome, and while the mysterious U7 guy isn't exactly what I expected, I'm still pretty interested. Hoping he gets some kind of transformation.
I'm liking all the new types of characters we're getting. U6 team, Zuno, U6 kaioshins. Was surprised to see the galactic king make an appearance, but glad he did, was hoping they'd do more with him.
I'm thinking this Jarama guy may also be the dragon summoned, as well as the creator. Hope he's super big and has a cool design.
It's wierd that Gohan is the only one staying behind. Almost every character in the series is at the tournament except for him. Makes me think something is gonna happen involving him. I really hope the anime doesn't screw this up when the time comes, cause it seems they've changed a bit of things from the manga. But if they do this right, I could get past the shitty F arc and forgive. So hopefully this lives up to expectations.

I just realized that Yajirobe, Popo, and Korin have never appeared in Super, and I don't think we will see them.

I'm more shocked how Lunch was tossed aside like that, but we will surely always see Pilaf Gang.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Also why were the Super Dragon Balls formed in Age 41? That doesn't make any sense. As the "normal" dragon balls(who came later ofcourse) were already around 75 million years ago when Old Kai warned the Namekians..
It could be a plot hole they overlooked. But we'll see, maybe they have some explanation ready, if not they will probably add something later when more fans point it out after TV episode premieres
Or maybe it was a mistranslation. That's what i hope at least.

I really wanna seen Lunch interact with Tien since Toriyama greatly teased a relationship between them. And if Dragon Ball Forever is anything to go by, they actually became a couple. Who wouldn't want to see that?

Mr.Toriyama says she sometimes stops to visit him. Although the relationship never took of. It's in a interview translated on the website.

Plans to make a script with dialogues, as well as Herms made to Chapter 6?

Nope. Never. A general summary is fine, but there's no telling what could be lost in translating from from Japanese to Korean to English.

Herms has already implied he's going to tackle the Japanese text in script form again when it pops up. The summary was just to tide you guys over till it does.

As far as I know, they've only said the rules of the fights are the same as the Tenka'ichi Budokai. I'd assume it's best of 5 rather than a bracket format.

The implication with the terms used for the team captains or whatever was that this will work like the Uranai Baba tournament.

Great, more purple 'Super' characters lol. Beerus and Champa were all the purple I could take. Now two more to the list. Oh well, nothing too major. Still satisfied with the overall character designs I guess.

I do hope Goku will see Pilaf again in the Super anime. In GT, Goku did not recognized Pilaf for being so old. I wonder how he will react to seeing them young again. Goku is also surprise to see Kaioshin split into two begins again.

Yes, the U7 mystery guy's design is the most Toriyama thing ever. Yes, he or she or whatever could have a cool transformation. But I already hate it. That's the first thing I really hate about Dragon Ball Super.

The U6 guys all look cool to me, especially the purple, team-leader looking one, and the Robot. Freeza's race character is a little too recicle-y to me, but since I expected way worse from the "parallel universes" thing, I'm actually okay with him.

I really, really, REALLY hope Piccolo is not same old Piccolo. I mean, Goku and Vegeta trained on Whis' staff dimension AND RoSaT, no reason why Piccolo couldn't also train on one of those places to attain a new level. At least that's my wish. I would love for Piccolo to end the series also on the God Ki scale, but that's too much of a stretch I guess, I have kinda resigned myself that his character went a different way after the Kami fusion.

I think the nipple guy is going to be like Buu with a couple cool transformations. For the Saiyan I have a hard time seeing a girl looking like that, not the eyes but just the way the characters built like Gohan in general. The Bears probably got more going on for him then what meets the eyes. I'm a sucker for robot looking robots
The Freeza guy is probably there to finally reveal the name of the race. The Cooler/Pikon looking guy is the one I'm most interested in, as I have no idea what to expect of him in general.

Why the hell is Piccolo not there with Goku and Vegeta? Come on Toriyama... give Piccolo a power up and a new outfit.
