In series the mafuba is used four times (Now about to be five) and successful twice, in general the Fusion is used three times and is technically successful twice.

Actually fusion was used six times and was only sucessful in M12 since only Gogeta had truly defeated the main threat.

For realsies? I don't really remember any well-know fanfics to reintroduce Mafuba again right now, it can be a possibility, sure. But all these fanfics always take concepts of the Z portion of the series, with fusions and new Super Saiyans forms being one of the most overused concepts.

It make no sense to limit the story because side-product did it.

As a matter of fact, Super it is a side-product too.

Yes, for realises. Mafuba is up there as one of the components that's nearly always brought back in those because they find that references to Dragonball like that enhance the story. Really, anything remotly important in Dragonball is an overused point in fanfiction.

FFS man. Super isn't on the same level as GT. It's been called the true successor to dragonball and has much more input from Toriyama. It isn't a side product. It's a main dish and you'll have to get used to it.

So, Gowasu will go the future world as well... This means that Goku & co. will also have a Potara set available for their fight against Merged Zamasu!

I hope this happens. That way our heroes can stand a chance against a fused Black/Zamasu. SSJB Vegito would be so awesome like he when he was SSJ fighting against Super Buu.

I could see this happening as well. It wouldn't/shouldn't be a problem as it is now known that Shenron/Porunga can split them up any time they want as well.

I have to say this arc is surprising me. I was expecting things to get over with several times before and we still don't know what will happen.

Perhaps he finally realised the applicability of Kai-Kai in thwarting the escape of his enemies? I don't know how Trunks is expected to repair the jar. With the desolation and scarcity of resources, Denshi Jars are probably very difficult to come by. The group would have been better prepared had they brought along someone who is capable of using materialisation magic.
