Question, if East City was already destroy twice before first when Nappa blew it up then Buu, now again in this movie, doesn't Goku have to ask Porunga to resurrect everyone?
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

No, because 1/ Freeza destroys North City not East City, and 2/ Goku and co. never wished East City back after Nappa blew it up.

They weren't revived the first time with Nappa.

I thought Popo wished for everyone killed by Freeza and his men to be resurrected, wouldn't that return the inhabitants of East City as well?

That would have also resurrected Nappa going by that logic but it didn't.

Vegeta wasn't working under Frieza at that time though, so it technically wouldn't count.

Even then, the East City residents still would not have been revived.

Plus Nappa worked more for Vegeta seeing as he was the boss of the Saiyan's so I guess that little technicality kept him dead.

Not really, they're designs are kinda "meh"

Tagoma: skinny gray bald alien with no utility

Sorbet: Not that original, he kinda remembers me of Kamek from Super Mario games

Shisami: A bulky red bull-type alien

Talking about new character designs I still prefer Beerus and Whis

Herms wrote:Vegeta: "How could I possibly be loyal to you?! You're the one who destroyed my world, Planet Vegeta!"
Whis: *whispering* "Oh, but Lord Beerus also approved of Planet Vegeta's destruction."
Beerus: "Shssh! Shut up!"
Wow... Is this real? Talk about pitiful.

When the hell Vegeta cares about his home planet? TV Special made really clear that Vegeta didn't give a shit about Planet Vegeta destruction and now this? Another reason to just see this as a big filler and nothing else.

Vegeta doesn't care about Planet Vegeta anymore, but it doesn't mean he doesn't have some kind of grudge against Freeza about it. It is his home planet, race and family after all.

You take a statement from a TV special, and uses that to make RF filler? Sure...(Which of of these were based on Toriyama's script?)

He gave less of a shit about earth but now he'll put his life and pride on the line to protect it.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I actually like Tagoma's design, I'm disappointed that he was killed off so early.

I always though his grudge against Freeza was because Freeza used him as a tool, a puppet or whatever and that's was humiliating for Vegeta, not because his planet was destroyed, his family and possible friends.

Well, didn't Toriyama gave a guarantee that TV Special was somewhat canon? Anyway I ignore his new stuff because he keeps forgeting stuff. I don't know how can someone could prefer Minus instead of TV Special.

For someone who takes such huge pride in being a Saiyan, do you really think he'd have zero emotional attachments to Planet Vegeta?

Yes. He could have brought it all back with the Dragon Balls and didn't even consider it. All he wanted was immortality. He also could have created a new race of saiyans by using earth women as it was suggested by Nappa, and he disagreed saying that he didn't want kids becoming stronger than him. And when he finds out from Dodoria that Freeza was the one that destroyed his planet, he doesn't even get mad.

Vegeta only cares about his race and planet when it's convenient for him to care, like in that moment to turn down Freeza or when he was about to die in Namek so that Goku could be more motivated to fight. He's an hypocrite.
