It will be on again at like 11 or 11.30.

And I DO feel like I just won [something], that was a huge thing for the Dub so YaAaY for it living on.

Nappa says "What does the scouter say about his power level?" on the DVD/BD, but said something completely different on NickToons, and I'm guessing it's pretty accurate to the Japanese version too...

Yeah, but I noticed in one of Nicktoon's promos, Goku actually says "Kayo-ken." What's up with that? Should be a one-time mistake, I suppose...

Well, that should satisfy the meme-loving twits.

That aside, it was a pretty well-dubbed episode.

You shouldn't call someone a Twit just because your opinion differs from theirs.

I can't wait for Wednesday [episode 14] since the Bluray stopped at 13.

"A person who likes a DBZ meme is a twit".....that is NOT a fact, that is an opinion.

Wow, really? That's an opinion? Because here I was thinking I was reading from a fucking textbook.

"IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAND!"

Not only did he say 9000, but he said it in the over the top delivery. Awesome.

Quite frankly, I'm shocked that they would do this just because it was a popular internet meme. Just think about that for a second. Doesn't that seem... just... bad?

Which makes me wonder: How the hell did this guy upload a video of the TV version... 4 days ago? When it just aired tonight?

Probably from the Nicktoons site. They upload clips as sneak peeks.

EDIT: Now I actually watched the vid...what the fuck?

How is that "bad"?

Its a huge thing in the US Dub so they kept it in the US Broadcast.

It was the exact same way with Burst Limit.

It was a huge thing only because someone made a silly video on youtube. That's the only reason that decision was made. Nothing to do with broadcast standards or censorship. They dubbed the correct line for the home release. But it was in the US broadcast solely because it was a popular internet meme. Pardon me for thinking that should have absolutely nothing do with deciding what lines get put in a show, and that it reflects badly on Funimation.

I think it's a fun in-joke between semi-in-the-know fans and FUNimation. It's also a great way to get people who may not be familiar with the show tune in. "Oh, I saw that video on YouTube and here it's on TV. Maybe I'll check it out and see the context."

I liked it. It was fun, over the top, a great nod to the fans, and it doesn't affect anything at all. In fact, I think Nicktoons should make a promo out of that clip.

It's like the Juggernaut line in Xmen 3, only, y'know, not terrible.

If Nicktoons really wants to hype up Kai, they would have used every single little meme possible and now that the 9000 is out there now [which it will always be] they need to blare that commercial like crazy.

This is marketing, do you all not get that? It doesnt affect the Bluray/DVD release so let 9000 reign supreme. The more attention kai brings, the better.

UGHHHHHH!!!!!!! I really didn't want this to happen. I agree with penguintruth's opinion. My friends are always like "LOLZ! IT'S OVAR NINE THOUSAND!!!!!11111111" I really can't stand "Over 9000" anymore. It's just a line. I don't see what's so funny about it. I honestly don't know what is funny. Is it that he screamed it. Nothing about the Ocean dub line, FUNi's 2005 line and even this one's is just not funny. I really wish we'd stop beating a dead horse. It was a line spoken over the top. That's my opinion. You guys can like "Over 9000" that's fine, but I'm sick of it.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.
