Weird. When I played it on my DVD player, it locked up at that spot, but was able to skip ahead a few seconds and play through the rest of the episode. It skipped in a few other spots in 137 and the very beginning of 138, but after that, the last few episodes played without a problem.

Idk, there are a few tiny, tiny smudges at the very edge of the disc, but still within the data ring (idk what to call it, you know, the edge of the disc where there's no data present), but I don't see how such a tiny flaw could possibly affect playback.
It's been done countless times before, but...

I'm about to start the last disc, but I haven't had any problems so far. I'm watching on a PS3 though, if that matters.

I can't remember who sai it but someone mentioned how the JP score ruined the Final Flash scene opposed to the Faulconer music... and after just watched it, I'm going to have to whole heartedly agree.

I didn't feel the danger or peril at all, he might as well have toosed a ki ball towards Cell underhanded with THAT music.

I want Faulconer to do the soundtrack for my life.

I'm really enjoying this box, though I've just been watching DBkai every week since I'm so used to watching with the Kai score (I love kai's musical score).

I did notice a few posts back though, that box 2 is going out of print. Is this really true?

I don't even get what that means.

Also, sadness on Jimmy Firecracker not being in this boxset.

You feel that Vegeta's dub theme (which misses the point of the scene. When he's rising into the sky it's supposed to be a moment of desperation, but the dub tries to make it a "bad-ass" moment), followed by the Dragon Theme that doesn't really build up to anything here, followed by... Vegeta's Super Saiyan dub theme is more fitting than an orchestrated track that is very ominous, with strings and powerful bells as clouds fill the sky bringing an immense feeling of foreboding, which builds up until just before the revelation that Vegeta's going to provoke Cell with his Final Flash, which may destroy the Earth. To each his own, but the bells from the beginning of the track, along with clouds casting shadows alone fill me with a sense of foreboding...

Considering how long it's played here, the Dragon Theme is supposed to do all of the aforementioned building up and whatnot, but it just doesn't build up nearly as much, which just makes it feel more like a generic "power up for over 9000 episodes" moment to me.

Also, once again before anyone jumps on me for expressing an alternate opinion and feels like accusing me of telling others what they aren't allowed to like, I never said that. Like whatever you want, I'm only stating what I like, and stating why I like it compared to the other user who said they didn't like it.

[EDIT] Removed an inaccurate statement.

I felt like I should have posted this a long while ago, it's Daizenshuu 1 with Dragonbook vol. 4!

Wait...are you talking about "The Dragon Theme?" That song is NEVER used for "filler."

Thanks for correcting me. I take that part back then, it's been a while since I've seen the show with much of the dub score (although I still remember many tunes...), and I seemed to recall it padding a few scenes.

Just recieved my Box 4 yesterday. It's pretty awesome! I ordered it on Amazon, and it arrived here with a dent/chip on the very top of the box. Highly annoying, but oh well. Haven't watched it yet.

I ordered mine from Amazon.ca and it also had a dent in the top left corner and a dent in the bottom right corner (on the side). It is very annoying since I had ordered Dragon Box 2 & 3 from Amazon and they came in mint. I wish I could buy the boxes in a store to make sure they are mint but after Dragon Box 1 stores stopped stocking them.

My box 4 also came with damage to the outer box. Two indentations into the upper part of the spine and some scuffs on the upper left edge of the front. Considering this is the Dragon Box, I like everything to be as perfect as it can be.

I got mine today, and I'm happy, but there is a cut at the top of the book... which kinda disappointed me.

Also... is it just mine, or does the first disc's preview of Initial D's audio out of sync?

I noticed that too, I never heard of them ever having a trailer that's out of sync.

Well, I checked YouTube and saw the Initial D trailer on there and it was in sync, so I'm assuming I got a faulty disc (plus I saw it was warped and had scratches. I already sent an RA request to Rightstuf so I can send it back and get a new set. -sigh- and I was gonna enjoy watching it this weekend. :(

I also noticed that. Haha, I just figured they tried to stay extremely true to the literal Japanese translations, thus resulting in some god awful lip syncing.

Finally going to order this from Rightstuff, along with Dragon Ball Season Three, this weekend during their Funimation sale. I put it off until I'd gotten my first paycheck of the year from my school newspaper job.

I have a feeling I'm going to see my grades drop sometime around mid-October because of this thing. Then again, this is my least favorite part of the series, so maybe it'll be okay.
