We have finally reached 90k likes but now it's gotten to a point where the likes have slowed down a lot. Gotta be patient.
Only 10k left now, though.

It's going to take a while for it reach another 10,000 likes. I'm still going to bet the game they announce will be a major let down.

I'm also currently expectation-less for this game. *Agrees with the chart*. If it isn't Spike behind this upcoming game, I will be surprised.
On hiatus.
Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
That chart really does explain it all. Hopefully we can make a new one with a different ending this time.

That's a pretty cynical post. You really don't have hope anymore?Hellspawn28 wrote:It's going to take a while for it reach another 10,000 likes. I'm still going to bet the game they announce will be a major let down.

Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
Not really. DBZ games after 2007 to me have been hit or miss. I would have liked the RB games better if they ofter us something new for once. Burst Limit was fun while it lasted and Ultimate Blast sucked balls.

Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
Ultimate Blast had sufficient media content to please the fans, however, the most important part of the game is that the gameplay was barely existent.

Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
A Rumor is going around that Namco Bandai might reveal either the Raging blast 3 by treevax/nostal or something similar to it when they reach 100k on there facebook.
Let's keep are fingers crossed.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/ ... z_game_at/The official Dragon Ball Games FaceBook page has been teasing for the past few weeks about a "Plan To Conquer The World". In other words, they are going to announce a new DBZ Game. They will announce it the second they receive 100k likes on their facebook page (talk about taking like whoring to a whole other level).
If you haven't heard (and i'm sure most of you haven't) a moderator on Namco Bandai's official EU forums called Nostal made a synthesis of fan wishes for the perfect DBZ game as the past few games haven't been that great (the last good game was Budokai Tenkaichi 3). He managed to show it to a Namco Bandai producer who then showed it to the development team of DBZ in December 2011. Around July 2012 Treevax got invited to a Namdai event in paris, to which he brought his fanwish sheets, to his surprise he got to meet the developers behind the Dragon Ball games and showed them the sheets and explained to them how everything worked.
For a full report of this meeting with pictures click here: http://nostal.deviantart.com/journal/?offset=1 To see his fanwish sheets click here: http://nostal.deviantart.com/gallery/37035657
In December of 2012 he posted this on the official DBZ Games facebook page: "I just wanted to let you know that my PS3 is feeling very lonely. She misses Son Gokû and his friends.
She really hopes that the Z-team will come and visit her soon, and that it will be worth the wait.
... _"
They then replied with: " I heard Goku met with Santa lately and Santa told him a secret about next game to come...Maybe if you're nice this year, you will be told the secret..."
A Few days ago somebody posted this on Nostal's Facebook page: "is it true that a new game of DBZ is being made for about 2 years and they said its even better than tenkaichi 3 ??"
And Nostal Replied With: " Something is being developped indeed, with around 2 years of development. I can't say anything else, sorry, but this is going to be big." When he was asked how he knew this he replied with: "I don't work for them, I'm just a french fan. Though, I'm very invested. I'm one of the french Namco Bandai moderator, I take care of the interviews of the producers every year, and I made a synthesis of the fans wishes, the "DBRB3 project", to show them what we are numerous to want.
This is why they trusted me and gave me some pieces of informations about their upcoming product, some month ago."
Let's keep are fingers crossed.

Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
People are either assuming:
1) Four Star Apple = Tenkaichi 4
2) Raging Blast 3
I'd be more than happy if they were to announce J-Stars for Europe and US. I know it ain't a DB game just more like "Battle Stadium D.O.N 2" in 3D.

If it's something similar with Nostal's "Raging Blast 3", then I'm gonna be very excited.

Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

It's more like a sequel to the Jump Ultimate Stars for DS, since it's a Jump game, not a Dragon Ball/One Piece/Naruto game.dbboxkaifan wrote:I'd be more than happy if they were to announce J-Stars for Europe and US. I know it ain't a DB game just more like "Battle Stadium D.O.N 2" in 3D.

If it is like Nostal's fan wish project then we finally have a sequel to Anime Designer: Dragon Ball Z.
But I'd be totally down with "playing" as Towa.

Wow! Around 2 years of development time, that's amazing for a DB game.
If it's going off Nostals ideas I'll love it!

Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
Well, if Nostal is to be trusted, then we can basically assume that his vision, to whatever extent, is being realized. He's already hinted quite a bit in the past that he has some contact with the producers on some level, and that something is in the works. And, he actually did meet with them, so either he's lying or this might actually be something worthwhile.
No matter what it is, though, there's absolutely no way Birus isn't involved. Haha.

I'm pretty sure one of the producers intimated that Ultimate Blast and DBZ for Kinect were basically smoke and mirror titles to fulfill the obligation of the yearly releases. Ultimate Blast was basically Raging Blast 2 with a tweaked engine (made worse, really), slightly touched up graphics, and a few new characters (with a lot taken out). It's clearly just a rebranded Raging Blast 2. The animations are all the same, the character models are all the same, and the sounds are all the same. DBZ for Kinect is even worse, it's Ultimate Tenkaichi, but first-person. Same battles, same scenes, exact same graphics and stages... to me, this is damning evidence that Spike came up with a plan to finally satisfy fans who are looking for a good, solid, polished game. Sacrifice a couple of years, releasing garbage, but on the side work on a serious game. We're happy, they make more money. Everyone wins.Super Saiyan Prime wrote:Who do you think developed Ultimate Tenkaichi and DBZ for Kinect?
