Besides the typical "Akira said this", which isn't true, at least he isn't stating anything else obviously wrong and stupid. Vegetto is the strongest in DBZ and, if we consider DB to have a canon, then GT and SSJ4 are probably not part of it. As far as youtube comments go, I've seen MUCH worse.

ok so I just heard on somewhere (I dont remember where but it is ture) that 70% of Dragon Ball Fans dosent consider GT a part of Dragon Ball.They consider it a Fan Made thing that never existed.Which somehow got the licence to make Episodes but they dont care they still count it as Fake

So I'm guessing that if you don't like it. It's fan made

Also a Fan said they should have made a SSJ5 for the following reasons

they should have atleast made a Super Saiyan 5 because leaving things at Super Saiyan 4 felt like they left it in the middle of the story.I would have like GT a little better if they ended things with Super Saiyan 5 instead of copying DBZ and ending it again with Spirit Bomb

I don't understand how people can straight up lie about stuff like this. Even if they genuinely believe that, they had to get that idea from somewhere, and the original source has got to be a deliberate lie.

It's actually just because no one knows jack shit about Dragon Ball to begin with. Toei loopholes themselves, Toriyama forgot everything and the powerlevels were dropped post-Frieza.

We are talking about the mainstream dubs here. Though if we have to bring in another Asian dub, I do like the Hindi voice actor for Goku. Sounds a lot like Ian Corlett.

I have been watching this series on the NicktoonsTV channel for a few weeks and have noticed that many of the voiced actors have been replaced.

It would have been fine if it would have been side characters, but Gohan, Bulma and Frieza? (Those aren't the only ones, just two of the main characters that I have noticed to be gone)

This is very lame and has turned me off of buying it on BluRay.

To anyone who is a true DBZ fan, then I would just stick with the Orange or Yellow box sets since they still contain the original cast.

I bought this for my son for his birthday because he watches this series on Nicktoons. Well, much to my surprise...and displeasure....there is cursing in it. I guess Nicktoons must edit it out because there has never been any cursing in what is shown on their channel. Since there is no rating listed, I had no warning prior to purchase. It's only fair to let people know what's included, so for anybody that wants to know about it, this review is for you.

We purchased Season one of Dragon Ball Z for our 12 yr. old. He was so excited when it arrived. A few days later, he made me aware of some very inappropriate scenes. Needless to say, he was embarrassed to show them to me, and even left the room. I was shocked when I saw the following: One scene was of a boy getting out of a bathtub, fully nude, showing the front of the boy in detail. Next was a scene of an old man telling a teen aged girl that he wanted to see her panties. She finally gave in and when she pulled the bottom of her dress up, she wasn't wearing anything under it. Her bare bottom was shown. Then, a man arrived at the door of another girl (or maybe it was the same girl - not sure), and she was wearing a form-fitting shirt which revealed the outline of her breasts. The man began to fantasize groping her. We returned the set and Amazon was great to work with us on the matter. I realize a lot of people don't care what their kids watch on t.v. or at the movies. I also realize this is probably an adult cartoon. However, there are some people (like me) who believe this is inappropriate material for kids. My son was disturbed about it too so that says a lot. I was not going to give it any stars on this review, but it wouldn't allow me to publish without doing so.

My son loves dragon ball z and when I saw this I thought he would like it even better. I shows Goku as a kid, so I thought it would be more kid friendly, but it's not! There is a lot of sexual and inappropriate scenes. Would not recommend for kids at all!

Like 99% of anime this involved sexual situations. Why is it all anime involves naked underage girls? There was a piticular scene between Pan and Doltaki that was really disturbing. I liked DBZ but this was really dark and perverted.

Funny seeing parents bitching on the Internet. If that kid is 12 then he can handle nudity and it would be nice if the parents did some research before buying. The TV PG rating is down below after all.

It took me a while to get back to Daizenshuu EX myself after I first found it because I forgot the darn word, so at least one person was confused.

TV-PG for very different reasons, not sex jokes that are barely there and a fairly unprecedented script change from TV-to-DVD Kai. Have you even heard of another show that does that with a concurrent TV/DVD home release?
