So Super Butoden 2, which is offered for any pre-order of the game, will have all of its music replaced.
Not surprising (Yamamoto involved) and kind of welcome.

Where are you getting this information?

This'll be the second time it'll be on 3DS. Do you (or anyone) know if the J Legend Retsuden one had new music?

Not sure this is the topic for discussing the dub name filter but yeah I think it's been here longer than I have. And I've been here more than just a while...

Anyway, every time I pause the video on the striker cavalcade my eyes focus differently and I pick out someone I didn't see before. I wish more of them could be playable but I'm happy that a lot of these are making their fighting game debuts.

So they are weeboos for using proper terms? It's not like they have a filter for having "Vegeta" as "Bejita". Mr. Satan is the correct name for the character and we should stick with it.

Hercule is just as valid a term for him as Mr. Satan. They're both fake names. Hell, Hercule fits Toriyama's intent even better.

Besides, they don't filter it to Mr. Satan. They Filter it to The H-Word. Which is just silly. What if i'm writing a story featuring Hercule? The story would be ruined by that filter. If it were filtered to Mr. Satan, that would at least work. but it doesn't.

Also given that Dragon Ball is a generally a very humor filled manga, its kind of hilarious that Mr. Satan is lauded as the hero of Earth when his name is based on evil and whatnot.

Anyways, while a part of me is interested by the crazy amount of side characters another part of me is kind of worried that they'll basically just become something that would be constantly spammed and really get in the way of the fighting which I continue to hope is great.

edit: Oh wow, they really do filter Hercule. That's kind of odd (a touch funny, but I can see why it might irk some people). What about Turles? Huh... You learn something new everyday...

Only in Retrospect. I recall reading in one of the guides (I think it was from Herms megalist) that the name Mr. Satan was picked because Toriyama wanted a name that sounded Strong. Hercule is a reference to Hercules, who his known for his great strength, so it fits Toriyama's original intent, but not the later naming scheme established with Videl and Hercule's real name.

Personally, the name Mr. Satan makes me uncomfortable. I live in a christian household, so i can't have the name Mr. Satan said at high volume, thus i'm inclined toward Hercule in both auditory and written context. I don't want to type out Mr. Satan or have people say "You're great, Mr. Satan." It's wierd and skeevy

I want this so bad. Shame most of the characters I want to play as will likely be assists. Here's hoping I can at least make my own dream team assortment of assist characters.
