Well I guess it's how you want to interpretate it. Being exempt from something could mean you're not obligated to do anything, but you could also choose to if you wish.

There's also the matter of the actual tournament structure, which will be much better organized with only 8 Universes. If this is a traditional tournament, 12 Universes would be impossible to bracket unless there were 3-way battles in play, which doesn't seem to be the case.

I theorized that my Universe would lose, but it turns out that Universe 1 is too cool for the tournament. Imma jump on Universe 3's team because they got a robo God of Destruction.

I'm hoping to see more of universe 9 in the actual tournament, because all their voice actors are really amazing, and they have an interesting god of destruction and kaioshin , it would be a waste if they get desintregated off screen

Well with 4 universes out, I'm hoping we see a lot of all of them. No need to be cheap and skip over the fights hopefully.

Well you never know, I personally hope that we get to see all the universes fight and no cheap skating by Toei. We've had 4 universe taken out of the big fight so we should all get a chance to shine even if all of us bare U7 have plot purpose deaths hanging over us.

For the Tournament of Power each fighter will be granted a V for Victory next to their name on the chart when they first defeat an opponent. A number will be placed next to the V for every opponent they beat. An L for Lost will be placed next to a fighters name when they are defeated. In the event of a double knock out both fighters will be given an L.

So basically u6 is going to get stomped by those rules,so this proves Magetta and cabba are the Best fighters in that universe because there not restrained in the tournament unlike hit, botamo and frost

Bergamo is Cool in this episode,the fact he tanked a ssgss kaioken Kamehameha,I want to see more of him in the actual tournament of power the same could be applied with basil and lavenda

Yeah this is really looking bad for U6....good thing they brought a rampaging fembroly to help out.

Bergamo will be a big threat, his size and power growth will be a big help. However Lavenda will be at a disadvantage as he cannot kill anyone.

I do like the layout for the tournament though, it means all our fighters will get a chance to shine.
