I will be so pissed if that happens. So unoriginal. They would troll us with a diverse team of fighters only to focus on the Saiyans once again and the mystery fighter. I'm actually worried about how they will use Piccolo and Buu.

Oh my god, its grotesque. Does this thing have a name? Scouters would be breaking more on its looks than its power.
Who knows? Maybe those nipples have some special power.
I'll hold my judgement though until I see this aired in the Anime.
Its name is Monaca.

Toriyama loves the idea of Goku jobbing out and constantly does it when he has the chance. He did it several times in the manga and did in Battle Of Gods.

I would love if both Goku and Vegeta lost their respective matches or one of them had a draw. It probably would make a lot of people upset, but I think it would be refreshing and give the spotlight to the other characters. The only one I'm sure will at least get a win is the new guy, I can't see him being introduced as this almighty individual only to lose immediately.

This creature is digusting, not even close as acceptable as those other "handsome" DBZ villains. It was given a name too in this chapter? I wasn hoping for a name to appear later. I was hoping it(she or he) will be knocked out soon enough as wee won't have to know his/her/its name.
English is not my first language!
I'm still waiting for Dragon Ball in Super...

Monaca is not a villain, first off, second why do they need to be handsome?

Toriyama had Goku lose in the final of the first two Tenkaichi Budokai's and has Beerus punk out Goku in both their encounters so nothing is impossible.

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

I think the reason it's so ugly is so we'll be surprised once it transforms into it's true design...at least I hope it transforms cause other then it being ugly it looks like a parody of Toriyama's concept of the smallest being the strongest which worked so well in the past.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

And it would be hard to disagree with him Granted, he wasn't always right, I don't necessarily think there was anything wrong with 19/20 being the main villains or 17/18. They didn't look like Freeza but they weren't joke characters either.

Interrupted by Pilaf gang shenanigans.
Plz no, it's beyond stale at this point. I understand that Toriyama hasn't gotten "Pilaf's return" outta his 'system' yet, compared to the DB fanbase that did it 20 years earlier (as well as with Freeza's 2874824 comebacks), but I hope it's gonna end soon. They came up, made jokes, great. We don't need to see it constantly for the next 10 years or so

For the naming scheme, Monaca's name is likely a play on the country, "Monaco". Correct me if I'm wrong.
From TheDevilsCorpse summary:
Whis says Monaca means, "great ponta." Monaca san is a hero from the planet, Wagashi (japanese for "sweets"). He's very calm/shy and kind but once he bares his fangs, he can give even Beerus sama some trouble.
Goku wonder's what "Great Pointer" means, and it's explained that it means his large nipples...
