So there were two timelines, two Zamasu's and a third timeline was created when Beerus killed Zamasu?

Not exactly. When Beerus killed Present Zamasu, he erased that timeline since our Goku will never become Black and as Beerus said, a god killing another gods affects timelines. Black only exists as a paradox because of the Time Ring.

Bullza wrote:So apparently Toei released some info graphic about the timelines. You probably discussed it already but...there is a third Zamasu?
Yes, and he is dead. There is one Zamasu that is immortal, another one that has Goku's body, and another one that was killed by Beerus.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Maybe one of the gang will think "Wait, is Roshi alive in this timeline?!"
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:

How do a strong arm an immortal?
Immortal does not equal omnipotent. If Garlic Jr. fought SSJ4 Gogeta, who do you think would win?

Given that SSJ4 Gogeta only lasts 15 minutes, Garlic Jr can easily out last him.

Beerus did not erase anything. The official chart even states that the moment Beerus interfered time split. That was because the time split so a time where Zamas died from Beerus and a time where Zamas was protected from it and could become Black to repeat that process began to exist. Read the chart and you will see that the right side said the split happened through Beerus.

How? The gap is just too big, even if Gogeta is defused Garlic won't be able to touch Goku and Vegeta, he would be their punching bag forever, but as some pointed before... Maybe if you attack a immortal enemy being stronger that the Dragon that fulfilled his wish, he could be killed?

As far as we have seen an immortal means you can't die, period. Not that if someone hits you hard enough, you will eventually die because it overwhelms the Dragon. I don't know why fans seems to think Zamasu's immorality is ruled by lawyers with a bunch of loopholes.

It's heavily hinted that the timeline was deleted since Beerus can affect timelines, according to him, and Black says he still exists because of the Time Ring. In other words, the present we have now overwrites the timeline Black came from.

It is hard to see what Zamas' immortality is like because it really as far as we have seen is so similiar to regeneration of some characters.

Yes, it is stated that he can do that and the chart and the ring show that the ring has priority over Beerus' power, protecting Black from it and it protected him by splitting time instead of rewriting it. The chart clearly says the timeline split where Beerus did his job.

Out last only if you mean that he will still be alive after the 15 minutes, but he would lose horribly.

That's not what people mean. They mean that despite Zamasu being immortal, Vegetto may still be physically stronger than him.

I actually have no doubts that Vegetto is stronger than Black Zamas.

He would get beating up and laugh because he's an immortal. People like Garlic Jr and Zamasu would win on the merit of outlasting their opponent like Goku outlasted Golden Freeza.

I didn't see Garlic Jr laughing after losing to Gohan.

He never lost to Gohan in a fight. He lost because he got tossed into the Dead Zone because he was an idiot.

Vegito will be stronger but Zamasu's zenkai will overcome that if they fight.

Vegito has the mafuba but Zamasu knows about it and and isn't just going to stand there and let them and he has his one abilities that will allow him to counter their attempts to tie him down.

Thats all a good balance that will help make there fight intreasting.

The biggest issue I see is that people seem to think Vegito going to be so powerful that he will outcalss Zamasu the same way fusion has Buu, Janemba and Omega. But thats not the case, (after watching the episode subbed) its clear Black is still growing stronger and confident enough with holding up Goku and Vegeta by himself. I'm sorry but Vegeta's lovely speech last time was all talk, infact he showed Black how rage can make you stronger. Hell Black wanted them to get even stronger from the rage of seeing Bulma and Trunks killed. So Black is still on their level. Zamasu is the weakest of the four but he can still keep pace with the other.

Takeing that into account the power gap between Supreme God Zamasu and SSB Vegito is going to be very small. That means Zamsu is more then capable of defending himself against anything Vegito dose or tries to do. Vegito will have the edge but Zamasu is not at his mercy like the other villains were.

Also look at Super's track record.

SSG was not enough to beat Beerus.

Golden Frieza was stronger the SSB Goku and he would have effectively one the fight if not for Whis.

SSB Kaioh-Ken x10 was not enough to beat Hit. From what we saw if Hit had been serious and using his best moves he would have won, especially withe the tole the kaioh-ken was taking on Goku.

Vegito will not be enough to beat Zamasu, at least not in terms of power alone.
