What excites me most about this new dub is seeing how the public will react to it after having been exposed to the original audio for over a year. The backlash against Goku Black's and Hit's voice was just the beginning, think of the arguments that'll happen if the dub uses names like "Zamas", or a character's voice doesn't meet their expectations, or, god forbid, they keep on using old "dubisms".

Technically, both Toei's and Bandai's assets uses Zamas sometimes. There is a chance that the dub uses it.

I hope they will. The last thing I want is people overpronouncing a "u" that should not be overpronounced. Same goes for his "ma".

Zamasu is the wicked witch of the west. All they needed to do to defeat him was throw so water on him. Who would have guessed that?

They could get Wayne Grayson to dub Zamasu

Well, that's a shame.
It's basically an angrier SSJ4 voice, but Black's Nozawa voice is different. It's a slightly lower goku normal voice, a twistier version of the hero.

You're right. Sean does Goku well because his voice fits Goku's character. However, Sean's voice is not right for Black.

To be fair, Black started being worked on when the Future Trunks saga started as well. Sean will probably improve once he gets a better look at Black's character.

But geez, he really does lack emotion here.

You really shouldn't based someone's performance to how they sound in a video game. Especially when everyone tends to give mediocre performances and Nozawa had several episodes and the benefit of knowing Black's history.

All the English voices had was a script and how long they had to talk. Hard to give award winning performances.

That sounded comically horrifying and I'm not sure if I'm disappointed that it turned out to be false.

It would've been fun to draw a Wizard of Oz parody if it'd been true.

I enjoy Gokû and Vegeta team work though, so I have that to look forward to.

It's already winter time here in Norway, so I have to assume that's the case in several other countries as well. Super has aired at 2am for us, but it'll air at 1am now. It's simply a case of where you live.

Well, I'm kind of torn on that. Sometimes Sean grunts which is awkward and not really how one would imagine Zamasu sounding in Goku's body, but there are quite a few lines where his grunting is either minimal or absent and I think he does a pretty good job there.

Guess we'll see how good his overall performance is when those episodes come out for the dub.

Yeah it's unfair to judge his Black on that especially since when FUNi dub shows they always have the VA's listen to the Japanese first for every scene.

All that Nozawa and Schemmel did was go to their super saiyan 4 voices and then make them sound like serial killers.
