That's a fair point, I guess...Doctor wrote:And why would he re-appear in space again...? He was teleporting from one place to another in space, not teleporting from one place to another in the Earth or from space to Earth.

You don't have to teleport exactly to what you're sensingDoctor. wrote:And why would he re-appear in space again...? He was teleporting from one place to another in space, not teleporting from one place to another in the Earth or from space to Earth.

Sure, normally Goku teleports a few centimeters or meters away from the thing he's sensing; but not thousands of kilometers, lol.Marco Polo wrote:You don't have to teleport exactly to what you're sensingDoctor. wrote:And why would he re-appear in space again...? He's never had problems darting to something in visual range before, unless you really think he was sensing Cell while doing that Kamehameha. If he's had to sense every other time, why does he need to do the finger thing to concentrate at all? That seems to be him searching to me, he wouldn't need to if Beerus were right in front of him. Just as he didn't need to when teleporting against Cell, or when Buu began attacking him as he formed that Spirit Bomb.Doctor. wrote:He wouldn't need to put his fingers on his forehead to concentrate better if that's the case then, like with the Kamehameha against Cell.

That's the point, he wouldn't need to be, but he still did. Which means that he was searching for a Ki.ShadowWolf87 wrote:he wouldn't need to if Beerus were right in front of him

There are demonstrative moments where Goku does not need to. That would be one.Doctor. wrote:That's the point, he wouldn't need to be, but he still did. Which means that he was searching for a Ki.ShadowWolf87 wrote:he wouldn't need to if Beerus were right in front of him
If anything, that'd be an animation goof, as I doubt Toriyama made note that he wanted him specifically to scan for a ki to teleport two feet away.

Of course it is, I'm just saying that it doesn't make any sense in-universe.ShadowWolf87 wrote:There are demonstrative moments where Goku does not need to. I've just heard Norihito Sumitomo's OST and well... one of his soundtracks reminds me Super Mario. I've just uploaded a video with the comparison:

Wow, I haven't seen the new movie yet, so this is my first time hearing it, but this is a lot like Mario. It even has an 8-bitish sound to it. I like it, reminds me of the nights I spent playing the first 4 Mario games on my NES when I was younger.MrKaytos wrote:I've just heard Norihito Sumitomo's OST and well... one of his soundtracks reminds me Super Mario. IIRC goku explained that IT works by locking onto someone's ki and teleporting there.I'm guessing the fingers on forehead is for better concentration. But still he used it vs beerus,so I'm guessing after he went ss god he was able to sense beeru's ki?

I wish they could back with Shunsuke Kikuchi, the man knows how to do soundtracks that really fit in the DB media

When the Resurrection of F trailer went up on YouTube, a lot of people echoed my sentiments in the comments section: "are they even trying anymore?" I don't think Taco Bell colors work too well together:

Freeza received a new form in the live action GT show:

I wasn't a fan of Freeza returning to begin with, but what killed it for me was how ugly the transformation looked. Anyone else think they should'a scrapped Toriyama's design and went with the one above or something else? I really like the 80s dystopian look.

Most Dragon Ball fans are incapable of making a logically sound argument.

The second one isn't any better.

Meh, I've heard the soundtrack and it's not good. Some melodies are weird, it's pretty minimal. There is like 7 % of orchestra, otherwise it depends on long chords and atmospheres, melodies repeated for too long in a loop.
If you give Sumitomo more money, you will get better sound definitely, but the same product as in the Buu arc.
Yamamoto was plagiator, yes, but his work with orchestra, instruments and their arrangement was exquisite. Same goes for Kikuchi. Sumitomo is untalented guy with hands on digital technology as he relies on sound completely,
to cover the lack of anything else and Boo arc soundtrack is absolutely dissastrous.
PS: listen to any of Kikuchi's scores for the movies. It's consistent concept album. You can even hear a main themes used in the movie in various tracks and he clearly have a model for how to build various scenes and moods.
Kikuchi is simply oldschool.

Sayo-Chan, Golden Freeza isn't brilliant but it puts that other form of Freeza to shame! That's just plain ugly.

That's just a live-action, is that really meant to be taken that serious?

I actually quite like Golden Freeza actually, I think it is pretty funny and seems Freeza even acknowledges it too. I quite like SSGSS, especially the aura, and it is a toss up between that and SSG as my favourite Saiyan transformation. Base is still my preferred look for the Saiyans however.

Having seen it in motion I am fine with the transformations

Golden Freeza is not that bad honestly. I never really had a problem with it.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147
