Also remember that people die all the time on earth and on namek.

To simply expect an alien race to hand over their yearly reset on a turn of a dime, without any complication, is silly.

Not to mention, if someone's soul were to be cleansed, like vegeta's was expected to, then it's game over. And the cleansing of a soul seems to be unpredictable, so any time someone who isn't so great, dies, that person has the chance of never returning.

I think bulma was especially sad about Vegeta because the last time she saw him, he had completely turned backed to his evil ways and had killed hundreds of people for nothing more than show.

To her, if vegeta was even able to be revived, it probably wasn't a sure thing that the gang would be willing and ready to use the yearly reset on him, on the grounds that he didn't deserve it or might still be evil or too risky to keep around.
So her reaction made sense to me.

Something in the summary was mentioned about the hell Freeza went to being specific to Earth, and Freeza thought if he destroyed Earth, that hell would disappear too. So does each planet have its own hell, and if the planet is destroyed the hell disappears? If so, what happened to all of the people who died on Vegeta and Namek? If they're in hell and the planet is destroyed and the hell vanishes, where do they go?

I don't think any of this is ever clarified. Beerus tells Goku to send Freeza back to the flower garden at the end of the film, but Freeza himself is the only one who mentions "Earth's Hell" as a specific location in Toriyama's script. So maybe all the planets have their own Hell or maybe Freeza just thinks every planet has their own Hell, we don't really have an answer yet as far as I know. Not unless Toriyama clarifies anything about this in his Volume F script comments...

Disappointed. I was expecting something more critic. I guess that was too much for a fanboy.
BUt Oda is always like that.

Toriyama really asked Oda to plug his own movie? That's so desperate.

Imagine if that note read, "Saw the movie. Gohan was weak. Why? Goku's a smurf now. Frieza looks like a trophy I'd receive for One Piece. But good effort, Toriyama-san. - Oda"
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

Wow, is it so hard for you to imagine that people genuinely enjoyed the film?

I was writing that in response to the people disappointed Oda wasn't more critical.

Toriyama and Oda have collaborated in the past and are both fans of each others series, so I don't really see this as desperate. Besides, people ask other people to plug their stuff all the time, especially when it comes to movies. It's common practice.

With how One Piece is, I'm not surprised Oda likes faff.

Well, One Piece is one of the best written and most beloved shonen manga in recent memory, so I don't know where you're going with that comment.

Being popular is completely meaningless, being well written is completely subjective.

So I can't really see how your comment is different from Rocketman's.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Seeing how well the movie did before this came out, he doesn't have reasons to be like that.

Apparently no one is allowed to like a movie you've decided you don't like, even though most of you haven't even seen it yet.

So, I saw the movie. It was great. The summary on here does not do the film justice. It's a legitimately entertaining movie. It's a great follow up to Battle of Gods as well. For those of you who don't like it because of the summary, go see the movie when it comes out in your respective country because it's actually really good. I know I will when it comes out in the US.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

Just curious. Many said a lightning bolt or something to that effect pierced Goku heart.

Where did this come from? I saw the blast. It was disssponiting. It was like Appule's attack on Tenkaichi 3.

If you've seen my short vids, it's a beam. It's a normal weak beam.

Besides I fixed the scene myself
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
