Eh. Freeza already saw Kid Goku once upon a time in GT. No Goten and Trunks, really? Opportunity to have Freeza confusing teen Goten and teen Trunks for the 2 Guys who beat him, utterly wasted![]()

They'd be teenagers, so both would look very similar to the Goku and Trunks that faced Freeza in the past.Lord Beerus wrote:Eh. Freeza already saw Kid Goku once upon a time in GT. And it didn't faze him in the slightest.

Or they wouldn't because they should've had at least tween body proportions in BOG already. For some reason Toei just refuses to grow them up, even though tween Trunks design is already there in History special to copy+paste and Goten would be just Cell Gohan with different haircutRocketman wrote:They'd be teenagers, so both would look very similar to the Goku and Trunks that faced Freeza in the past.Lord Beerus wrote:Eh. They're a marketing ploy. "Ah, look at the cute little kids". It's like they're scared to go for the unexpected now.Basaku wrote:Or they wouldn't because they should've had at least tween body proportions in BOG already. Just finished listening to most of the soundtracks of the movie. I liked them. Not sure if they really quite fit Dragon Ball, but they fit the tone of this movie that's for sure. I'm not one of the opinion that Sumitomo is absolute garbage at everything he does, he's pretty good at serious tracks. I liked "Merciless Freeza", "Earth's End" and "Golden Freeza Appears" a lot.

In that trailer from Funimation, there's a clip, where Gohan and co. all power up together after 20 seconds in front of Freeza and his men or Freeza alone. Is that scene in the movie?

Yeah. It's after they beat Freeza's men, and they're power up so Goku can use Instantaneous Movement to get to them.dbgtFO wrote:In that trailer from Funimation, there's a clip, where Gohan and co. all power up together after 20 seconds in front of Freeza and his men or Freeza alone. Couldn't agree more. Which is why I hope they get someone else to compose the the non-serious/goofy stuff for Super, not a fan of some of Sumitomo's attempts from BoG and now "F".Doctor. wrote: Just finished listening to most of the soundtracks of the movie. I was a bit surprised by that scene being there, as I didn't recall something like that from the longer synopsis provided on the site.

Didn't Sumitomo flat out say that he can do serious/action tracks much better that he can non-serious/goofy tracks?Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Couldn't agree more. Yes he did, but I feel like some people don't even give him credit in that regard.Lord Beerus wrote:Didn't Sumitomo flat out say that he can do serious/action tracks much better that he can non-serious/goofy tracks?Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Couldn't agree more. I certainly give him credit for his non-serious/goofy tracks. There are a bit hit and miss in his OST for Kai 2.0, BOG and ROF, but I feel as though that overall, they just don't stack up that well against his serious/action tracks. They're just that damn good.Doctor. wrote:Yes he did, but I feel like some people don't even give him credit in that regard.

I still wish Mr. Satan was in the movie. He has meant every villain of DBZ expect for Freeza. He has met Vegeta, Cell and Buu after all.

One of the commercials they ran during Kai the other day (I think it was for one of the videogames). He has Ryusei Nakao's voice too.Lord Beerus wrote:Where is God's name is that from? I must know.UpFromTheSkies wrote:Freeza returns again in the form of a boy in a golden track suit

Has there been any word on when the DVD/Blu-ray of this will be released in Japan?
