I'm not sure why or how they need this plot device, but I don't like it. The Potara should have no limits.

Agreed! I guess this is a way they can have Vegetto defuse without having to using the dragon balls. Sucks because I wanted to see Vegetto go one-on-one with Beerus for fun.

I'm sure the awesome power generating from Vegetto caused the normally "permanent" fusion to be rendered obsolete. It's the same thing with Gogeta in GT. The higher the two individuals power levels the more unstable the fusion. That will probably confirm that Vegetto was much stronger than Zamasu or it could be that he was Shinjin. I guess will have to wait to find out for sure.

It's total BS I agree. Next, they'll say Beerus could have been defeated only if Vegetto and Merged Zamasu teamed up against him. Hell, what's next Hit can beat Goku Black...when will it end?

With now Potara timelimit to nerv Vegito... Why not simply using Gogeta instead?

In the preview Vegetto does not seem stronger than Zamasu..but we'll see.

He was dancing in BoG and and behaving like an idiot in fromt of Beerus in the retelling in Super.

Maybe he doesn't know himself this weakness? Maybe it will be Gowasu who will explain this? I don't know, but c'mon man, don't be upset even before the show airs.
