I dunno, if the star system were more relevant than tedious (see: not being able to earn stars in your first time doing the mission) it'd be about right as far as difficulty is concerned.

DBZ Movie 3 told a stronger and more believable "Evil Goku" story in 60 minutes than Dragon Ball Super has in 20 episodes. And it did it with better visuals and score.

I'd much rather see the return of the Potara system rather than have to suffer through the Star system.

If it wasn't for the fact that there's no GT characters, I'd think they were giving Broly SSJ4, which would be ridiculous. I really wouldn't put it past them.

I think they should seriously throw some news at us, or at least say IF there is going to be a demo at all.

There was most certainly news today; and I get how they pulled off Tarble, they have all of Cooler's men to beat him up.

I saw this somewhere else, no link but it seems to go with all the screen shots [Nunu_Sox from Gamefaqs]:

Confirmation of the brother of Vegeta: Tarble, from the Jump Anime Tour Special, the big surprise of the game! His special attack is to bring his wife, who crushes the opponent with a ship.
Next Level revelation:

- Sauzer, Gold and Neîzu are available in the game Gold does not play it like a Sporovitch, but he has some skills in melee. Neîzu has some agility, his ultimate technique (electric), the Kôatsudenryû is superb.
- Cyborgs No. 14 and No. 15 have the opportunity to attack combined, do not ask me why I've never seen.
- No. 17 and No. 18 had two further attacks. You remember in the TV Special 2 when they face a Kikôha Gohan (before they get angry). The attack was resumed, so different from Sparking! Meteor ["Budokai Tenkaichi 3" here].

- Now the costumes are by number as in Meteor. Goku finds his clothes Yardrat, Trunks is playable without his jacket. The characters are represented by fixed artworks, therefore, impossible to know which suit is selected visual.

- Return items but different from those of Raging Blast first name. There are also items exclusive mode Galaxy.
- There is no story mode itself. Galaxy mode (main game mode) offers to do some fighting with ALL characters. As there are sixty, it promises to be lengthy. Each character in a fight against a boss, for example, Ten Shin Han is in second form cons Cell. Having assured nervous breakdown a few battles are very difficult, with its power Gohan must defeat Majin Buu revealed without getting hit.

- The tournament mode allows new possibilities is the return of the RING OUT. We can even form teams in this mode.

- If the transformation of Bojack is not terrible if not zero, that of Kuula is great! The scene of the film is perfectly true, and Kuula talking and then her mouth is the last turn before being closed. Effect simply sublime.

- The ability to deflect an attack has been completely revised. The effect is much better and we see the attack demolished part of the land. The effects are different depending on the nature of the attack. Imagine Bejita Zabon deflect the attack in the manga, and you get an idea of rendering.

- When a character cash (or not) attack, it is covered with smoke. An excellent effect, we recall that the fight against Vegeta Cell in the anime (DBZ episode 161). Exhilarating effect at best.

- The fields have been redone, and the famous cave is finally playable. For cons, the terrain height is significantly lower, in the case of the ring Tenkai Ichi Budokai, however, if the size of the ring does not change, there is a larger area. The depths (cursed) from Nameks have now disappeared, the map is in general much larger.

- Ginyu still can not change bodies with the opponent's face (this is the first thing I did playing the game).

- Metal Kuula has one of the finest attacking throughout the game because you remember the scene where Vegeta has to take a hit, and there is a smokescreen, Kuula uses radar to detect the enemy. It's almost here and very loyal. The attack ends with a metal back Kuula beautiful map directly from the film.

- The gameplay is much improved, finishing combos are more numerous. Deviations of the attacks are very beautiful. No problem with cameras on that side. Many beautiful things, during a bout of Kikôha, it is also possible to draw this way. Ah, when a character brutally pushes you, know that you can minimize the effect: Consider Goku that sends a Kiai to Burt and Jeece, these two brakes, it's the same thing here. Many new cancel. A real gem

My thoughts:
1. It sucks I won't be playing Ginyu YET AGAIN!
2. I hope Tarble's wife uses the SAIYAN space pod since that is what they came to Earth in
3. WHY IN THE WORLD would they take away story mode?!?!? [was it people complaining it was always the same?]
4. I can't wait to hear Tarble's Dub voice.

5. So all thats left is the 2 what ifs?
6. Best new roster for a DBZ game, EVER.

I like the bold parts but what the hell, no story mode. :(

Agreed. Not that it's a deal breaker, but what's next, shenron gonna be too busy to make an appearance? Also shame on them for going back to just a still shot of the characters before a fight, I liked in RB1 where the model was shown in the costume you picked.
This is a PS3/360 game...I'm plenty sure there is room on that disc to add a whole ton of costumes for people. Load me up developers, I have 320 gigs I would LOVE to fill up with DBZ goodness. :D Please hire me, I'll watch every episode and document every single costume every character wears and I'll do it for free and I will be the hero of dbz game fans.

Wait wait.....was there a full story mode in Budokai 3? I remember a FEW characters having a main story [like 11 of them] and you fought through each of their stories from the show; was that all there was in that game? I guess if they can do it and cover all the fights I'm ok with it. Wasn't it said somewhere that you can alter the story by making someone lose a fight who won that battle in the show? Maybe this is their way of balancing that out.

And although it was something different for its time...atleast we don't have a gameboard to play on like Budokai 2.

I would have liked to see Gray [his wife] chilling inside of it through the glass, just to have her show up, but still very nice. I do hope though that he does have some ki attacks as well. That would suck for a great new character to just have rushes. I absolutely LOVE his character design with his scouter on.

Oh, BTW, for anyone wondering, roster is finished. Seems we have no what-ifs this game, save SS3 Broli and Vegeta.
