I half-expect Toei to censor Monaka's nipples, except if they are a key part of his design, which they probably are. Anyone else thinks the same? On the other hand, if he actually transforms, I expect them to become weapons.

They'd have to keep the cape and turban, since he would look rather off hanging around without them. As for the gi, I don't think they can do anything significant besides a simple recolour and maybe some minor additions here and there.

That, or have him wear the traditional Namekian outfit.

I wouldn't say massive, it doesn't matter much. It doesn't contradict the plot in any big way, since they were never used (or at least we were never told) in any big, negative way before Dragon Ball started. It just contradicts a line from Elder Kaioshin, nothing much.

Kuririn suggest playing shiritori: Whis goes with "jirujiru". Goku asks what that is and Whis says its a bird on his planet.

I'm not seeing a lot of talk about this bit, but i find it very interesting. I doubt Toyotaro would be allowed to come up with something related to Whis' origins on his own. And the way it's brought up here feels almost ...gratuitous? It's like they wanna hint at something, or just tease the readers. Maybe we'll actually learn more about Whis in the near future.

Maybe it just means "Beerus' planet", not his own homeplanet.

I don't know the reality but I'm not the one stating things as facts. In fact, what I can say with certainty is that the laziest thing Toriyama could have done was to not draw anything. Have you seen Universe 6's team? Are you saying the robot is a lazy design? Sure, the bear looks plain but it's not lazy anywhere. Maybe you should point out Cell got his horns blown off and now uses a weird armor/clothes, except you don't because you like the guy and let him pass. And maybe if you don't like him, maybe you are wrong because, by your logic, since most people like him, you shoul too. This leads to my next point.

I doubt you know the opinion of "most ppl" and even if you did, numbers don't validate opinions.

What other designs from Toriyama are "lazy" in Super? You mean Beers' twin brother and Whis' sister? Yeah... remember Namek? That planet is filled with Piccolos. So lazy of Toriyama...

It being simple is what made it into the icon that it is today but you can't do the exact same thing again and expect to get the same results.

Whether people react to it the same way or not is a different thing. You said Toriyama didn't put effort in creating Blue but if you break the transformation down, it makes perfect sense why it looks that way.

Same thing with teasing female saiyans last chapter and not delivering this chapter on it. Everyone's got their own takes on what they find fun though, so.

I don't think they teased them, Goku and Vegeta were just chatting. What would the point be? Having Goku and Vegeta cheat? It wouldn't happen so the context of the conversation doesn't make sense if that were the purpose.

Discounting the RoF movie, i haven't seen Piccolo take off his cape or turban since the Cell Games.

That outfit is apart of Piccolo now though, he's been wearing it since Dragonball.

Purple Guy - Bad guy
Saiyan - Good guy
Blue Freeza - Good guy
Yellow Bear - Bad guy
Giant Robot - Bad guy

I don't think any of them are evil, just neutral, besides maybe the bear. I think the Freeza guy and the purple guy are good though.

Honestly, I want the U6 fighters to have more of a grey-ish/neutral morality like Beerus. Dragon Ball for way too many years has been far too black and white in regard to who is considered a good guy and a bad guy. Dragon Ball really need more characters lick Beerus and Whis and don't side with good or evil. They are just a force. It makes for a much more intriguing and unpredictable plot in my opinion.

I can see more than half of them having the same relationship Goku, Vegeta and Monaca have with Beerus, just with Champa instead; friends if they don't piss him off.
Maybe the Robot is there for "research purposes" and one of them was threatened to have his planet destroyed, if he didn't showed up.

I was and still am hoping that Champa knows very little about one of them, and that one has darker intentions then they let on, and is also way stronger then he or anyone knows about.

Also why with all the talk about a female saiyan is no one complaining that we haven't seen a female mutant, or Freeza race member?
