Now it's one of the lame filler eps with Bulma.

And for you guys keeping curse counts, yes, Vegeta said "Damn" again.

Alright, another curse by Vegeta! A "damn it all," tonight.

Not only that, but the dialogue's fixed the problems with the Saban dub. Vegeta actually thought (for a bit) that Goku was in the house of the Eldest, and was surprised when he saw Gohan instead. Also, he caught on about the Ginyu force right when he was supposed to.

But my favorite line-change was with Goku. Instead of saying that the Sports Drink was "better" for him than the beer, he said it was "less filling." :)

The Ginyu Force voices are very well done and accurate to the first round dub by Funimation. Great Ginyu voice imitation. I am so mad that there are no next episode previews. Anyone know why?

Myself I hate next episode previews. They spoil too much. And I was wondering about whether they would keep the so corny it was funny PSA from before. Sounds better this time. Was that what was said more or less in the original? Vegeta flipped the bird also.

Jheese still has an Australian accent instead of something a little more Scouse-y. :?

But overall, not bad.

Anyone think it's funny that they gave Zarbon Jeice's old accent and Jeice keeps Zarbon's?

I really didn't see Zarbon's accent as particularly distinctive of anything; just Chris Sabat trying to do his best impression of, er... not-him. Perhaps a little bit on the side of nondescript British, but I couldn't recognize anything particularly regional. I mean, I could be wrong, since I'm relatively new at trying to pick out British accents, but considering he was voiced by a Texan, I don't think it's really distinctive of anywhere outside the US. :)

If anything, I saw Sabat trying to pull off a "suave" accent for Zarbon. Although I do wonder how it is the voice went from actually being good in Season 3 to being "meh-ish."

Vegeta says "dammit" when the Gynu Force arrives infront of him, Gohan, and Kuririn.

EDIT:He also hollers "go to hell" just before he throws his dragonball and Burter catches it.

Yes! Another curse by Vegeta (this is getting a bit old... ^^). This time, anohter "dammit". Well, not much more to say...

EDIT: Well, I was a bit too late; Mike D said it first. But let me be the first (hopefully) to say Vegeta also told Ginyu to "go to hell".

I have to say, I chuckled when Vegeta told Ginyu to "go to Hell." Simply because it's quite refreshing to hear something like that for English dubbed Dragon Ball Z, let alone on TV.

Are you kidding? You've never heard "go to hell" in any other TV show?

No, no. I've heard it. :P I'm just speaking in regards of anything Dragon Ball related on television. It's something you'd normally hear just on DVD..but then again, there hasn't been much in that kind of talk past season 2's redub for DBZ. Unless, of course, you count the whole slip up of Dende's whole "Don't piss off the God of Love" line that made its way even into the censored broadcast.

The Grand Kai told Pikkon to go to Hell, though it was literal and not meant as an insult. The Ginyu force is sounding ok, though there are a few moments where Mr. Armstrong's Ginyu hints to Mr Takenaka and the DB narrator.

No, Grand Kaio-sama told Paikuhan he needed him to go down to Hell for him. Grand Kai (dub terms right now) told Pikkon to go down to HFIL on the TV edit (to which Goku asked what HFIL was, and North Kai replied with some idiotic response about how Grand Kai liked to use acronyms).

He did tell him to go down to Hell in the uncut dub, but that's not the version that aired on Cartoon Network.

Although regarding Ginyu, he does sound slightly off, though his voice is much better than the one used in Season 3 considering that one sounded like a complete maniac everytime he said his lines.

Well it was a different actor.

How many members of the Ginyu Force does Sabat voice?
Where's the beef?

I know he voices Recoome. I don't know about the others as I can't tell off the bat. When the dvds come around we'll really know since there they link the actor with the character directly.
