People on Youtube are posting comments saying that this is better then Super.

Eh, you get a lot really, really dumb comments on especially on youtube. It's a beautiful phenomenon of idiocracy there. I don't see such low quality, ill-informed comments anywhere else on the internet and I browse through 4chan boards. Which is why most (reasonable) folks almost never comment or read youtube replies.

Nothing makes me sadder for the fan base when I see people say that Absalon has a better plot and animation then Super. Number 1 Super's plot would be praised if we didn't get the movies before it and number two episode 5 of super looks as good or better than the best Absalon.

I like Absalon for what it is just like I like any other fanfiction but it's not as good as Super.

Super has a plot while Absalon is just all fighting and very little story. Not to mention Universe 6 has a lot of world building to it while Absalon has none of it. Absalon reminds me of the AF fan fiction that I would read in middle school.

Agreed. The art is so weird and it looks really unfinished. Most of it is pretty much only fan service with little plot. It's every Dragon Ball stereotype combined into one.

It's much more creative to be honest. There's a lot of fanservice but the characters seem to be better written and overall its much more entertaining. The fights rival Super's high point so I don't know what the complaint there is. It has much more of a cohesive plot than Super as welll..you're all either biased or..biased.

Hey, explain to me the point of Absalon. Why are the villains doing this? What is the point? Why are they so much stronger than our heroes? Because I don't understand this series at all. For all of Super's many faults Toei and Toriyama know story structure. 4 and a half episodes in 5 years-we know nada.

I wonder if the animator(s) traces other shows like a lot of fan animators seem to do on YouTube. Some of those cuts were actually pretty good, as rough as they were.

But yeah, Absalon is still pretty terrible. There's nothing about it that screams Dragon Ball. It's edgy fan fiction at its worst.

But Absalon has not give us any real characters so far. We have three aliens that come down to Earth and bring back the Saiyans for no reason behind it.Not to mention these revive saiyans can somehow go SSj, Golden Oozaru and SSj4. None of the bad guys have any real personality or depth seeing that they are all a bunch of generic doomsday villains. So far, Absalon has just been 95% fighting and 5% plot. DB, DBZ and even GT would try to balance plot and fighting. If Absalon was a real series, it would probably be more dislike than Super.

I don't understand the point of this page, if they are targeting absalon because of copyright, theres a lot bigger fish to fry like a DB restaurant even though I'm 99 percent sure nothing will happen no matter how many pages you create. I know some get direct permission to sell stuff like that like Padula. If it's because of his meltdown: there are bigger people who have lost their marbles once or twice especially in this community. If Toei/Funimation really cared, there would not be thousands doing it everyday.
