Can I just say I LOVE the movie Grandpa Gohan so far.

And him with the Nyoi-Bo = Win.

He looks more like he's an aging boyband member than a desert bandit.

Holy shit... Yamcha sucks.

How old is he, 45? With facial hair halfway to a goatee?

...

Yeah, he's almost old enough to play a high school student in Smallville :P.

Joon Park is almost 20 years older than Emmy Rossum, who are supposed to be playing characters of the same age... :P

You're almost right! He's 40. He had also lied about his age occasionally, so I read anyway.

Not literally, they were 28 at most.

If anything, 45 year old Yamcha and 16 year old Bulma should make for awkwardness.

That Yamcha DOES suck.

You know what I hate about these movies? The way they come up with "Normal" versions of colourful characters and act like it's awesome and new and improved. The 00s are truly the age of homogeny, it disgusts me. I honestly feel like kicking the crap out of the people that pull this rubbish sometimes.

Homogeny is not better.

Of course I don't like how Yamcha looked in DBZ either that was just as bad really though at least he had that scar to recognise him by.

Other than him being way too old, I think Yamcha looks ok...

Yeah it's pretty bad, but what I'm saying is if they used this same character concept on a younger actor I would be totally cool with it.

But they didn't. We can all say "it would be really awesome, if..."

But in the end, Kame-Sen'nin's still too young with no facial hair and Yamcha is still too old with facial hair. :P

Ah, OK, cool. :P

Why the Hell does he have blonde streaks, though...? I wouldn't have thought quality hairdressers were available out in the middle of the desert.

Yeah, Yamcha's design is pretty decent. It fits the desert bandit, if not in the Toriyama form that we're accustomed to.

However...FAR too old. x.x Yamcha's meant to be Goku's age!

So, if Yamcha's like forty, and they still go with the "Yamcha loves Bulma but is nervous around girls" angle, would that make Yamcha the 40-Year-Old Virgin?
